ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫ ߥߎ߬ߛߎ ߝߐߘߊ - ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊߟߌ - ߦߊ߰ߞߎߓߊ߫ ߓߟߏ߫ - ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߔߘߋߞߎ

Al-‘Asr

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 1

وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ

1. By the time,

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 2

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ

2. Mankind is in total loss,

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 3

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ

3. Except those who believe, do righteous deeds, exhort one another to Truth¹, and exhort one another to patience².

1. To be devoted and give preference to one another, loving, caring, serving. Advise one another to perform all kinds of good deeds which Allah has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins which Allah has forbidden.
2. Slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. To be patient in performaning the good deeds, and patient in abstaining from the evil desires. Patient for the sufferings, harms, which one may encounter in this world.
