ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫ ߞߟߏߝߋ߲ ߠߎ߬ ߝߐߘߊ - ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊߟߌ - ߦߊ߰ߞߎߓߊ߫ ߓߟߏ߫ - ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߔߘߋߞߎ

Al-An‘ām

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 1

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَۖ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمۡ يَعۡدِلُونَ

1. All praise be to Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and made darknesses and light. Yet those who deny (the Truth) set up equals with their (One and only True) Lord (Allah).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 2

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٖ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلٗاۖ وَأَجَلٞ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ تَمۡتَرُونَ

2. It is He (Allah) Who created you from clay1, then He decreed a term (for you to die); and there is with Him another term (for you to be resurrected); yet you doubt.

1. Adam, the father of humanity, was created from clay, processed earth.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 3

وَهُوَ ٱللَّهُ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَعۡلَمُ سِرَّكُمۡ وَجَهۡرَكُمۡ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تَكۡسِبُونَ

3. Allah is 'the only true' God2 in the heavens and on earth. He knows what you conceal or reveal, and He knows what you earn (of good or evil).

2. Who is rightfully worshiped by the dwellers of these two realms.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 4

وَمَا تَأۡتِيهِم مِّنۡ ءَايَةٖ مِّنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا كَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ

4. There does not come to them any Sign of the Signs of their Lord (Allah) but they turn away from it.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 5

فَقَدۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يَأۡتِيهِمۡ أَنۢبَٰٓؤُاْ مَا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

5. They have indeed rejected the Truth3 when it came to them; but soon they will face the consequences of what they used to ridicule.

3. God's Message sent with the Prophet Muhammad.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 6

أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ مَّكَّنَّٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَا لَمۡ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمۡ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّدۡرَارٗا وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهِمۡ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَأَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِينَ

6. Do they not consider how many a (sinful) generation We have  destroyed before them4, whom We had established on the earth such as We have not established you. We sent the clouds pouring rain on them in abundance, and We made the rivers to flow beneath them, then We destroyed them because of their sins and raised up after them another generation.

4. The fact that these earlier nations who were endowed with such abundance and were given water (the source of life and prosperity) both flowing and pouring without end were destroyed, did not make them think over their fate contemplatively.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 7

وَلَوۡ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ كِتَٰبٗا فِي قِرۡطَاسٖ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيۡدِيهِمۡ لَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

7.If We had sent down to you (Muhammad) a written Book on paper, then they had touched it with their hands, those who deny (the Truth) would have certainly said: "This is nothing but clear magic."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 8

وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ مَلَكٞۖ وَلَوۡ أَنزَلۡنَا مَلَكٗا لَّقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ

8. They say: "Why has not an angel been sent down to him?" Had We sent down an angel, the matter would have been judged, and then they would have not been given further respite (for repentance).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 9

وَلَوۡ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ مَلَكٗا لَّجَعَلۡنَٰهُ رَجُلٗا وَلَلَبَسۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّا يَلۡبِسُونَ

9. Had We made him an angel as Our Message-bearer, We would have made him resemble a man, and We would have covered them with that in which they cover themselves (i.e., confusion and doubt). 

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 10

وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُواْ مِنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

10. Indeed (many) messengers before you were ridiculed at, but those who mocked them were overtaken by that which they used to ridicule.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 11

قُلۡ سِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

11. Say: "Travel through the land, then see how was the end of the disbelievers."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 12

قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ قُل لِّلَّهِۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَةَۚ لَيَجۡمَعَنَّكُمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِۚ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

12. Say: "To whom belongs all what is in the heavens and the earth?" Say: "To Allah (alone)." He has ordained Mercy for Himself. He will certainly gather you on the Day of Resurrection - there is no doubt about it. Those who will lose themselves (that Day) do not believe.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 13

۞ وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِي ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

13. To Him (Allah alone) belongs all that dwells in the night and the day - He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 14

قُلۡ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيّٗا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُوَ يُطۡعِمُ وَلَا يُطۡعَمُۗ قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنۡ أَسۡلَمَۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

14. Say: "Shall I take as a guardian (lord, savior) other than Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Who feeds everyone and who needs no food Himself?" Say: "I am commanded to be the first who submits himself (to Allah), and that:"Do not ever be of the polytheists".

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 15

قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ

15. Say: "I fear, if I disobey (Allah) my Lord, the torment of a grievous Day."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 16

مَّن يُصۡرَفۡ عَنۡهُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فَقَدۡ رَحِمَهُۥۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

16. He from whom it is averted on that Day - Allah indeed has shown mercy to him. This is the clear achievement.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 17

وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرّٖ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ بِخَيۡرٖ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ

17. If Allah (God) touches you with harm, there is none that can remove except Him. And if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 18

وَهُوَ ٱلۡقَاهِرُ فَوۡقَ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

18. He (Allah) is the Subduer over His slaves (of mankind and Jinn). He is the All-Wise, the All-Aware.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 19

قُلۡ أَيُّ شَيۡءٍ أَكۡبَرُ شَهَٰدَةٗۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ شَهِيدُۢ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۚ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِۦ وَمَنۢ بَلَغَۚ أَئِنَّكُمۡ لَتَشۡهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً أُخۡرَىٰۚ قُل لَّآ أَشۡهَدُۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞ وَإِنَّنِي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

19. Say: "What is the greatest testimony?" Say:"Allah is Witness between you and me." He revealed to me this Qur’an that with it I may warn you and whom it reaches. Do you really bear witness that there are other gods with Allah? Say:'I do not bear witness.' Say: He (Allah) is (the One only true) God, and I am disassociated of that which you set up (with Him as partners in worship).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 20

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعۡرِفُونَ أَبۡنَآءَهُمُۘ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

20. Those whom We have given the (past) Scripture (Jews and Christians) know him5 as they know their own sons. Those who (are desitned to) lose themselves (in the Hereafter and enter Hell) do not believe.

5. The Prophet Muhammad who is mentioned in the Bible.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 21

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

21. Who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah (God) or (he who) denies His Verses (of the Qur'an). The unjust will never succeed.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 22

وَيَوۡمَ نَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُوٓاْ أَيۡنَ شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ

22. On the Day 'of Judgment' when We shall gather all people together, then We shall say to the pagans: "Where are those whom you claimed to be your gods?"

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 23

ثُمَّ لَمۡ تَكُن فِتۡنَتُهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ وَٱللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشۡرِكِينَ

23. Then their excuse in their trial will be nothing but that they will say: "By Allah, our Lord, we were not polytheists."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 24

ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡۚ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ

24. See how they lie against themselves, and that which they invented has failed them.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 25

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفۡقَهُوهُ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرٗاۚ وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كُلَّ ءَايَةٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهَاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوكَ يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

25. There are some among them (the deniers) who (pretend to) listen to you6, but We have set veils over their hearts lest they understand it, and deafness in their ears. Even if they see every Sign, they will not believe in it; so much so that when they come to you they only dispute with you. Those who deny (the Truth) say: "This is nothing but tales (lies) of the ancients."

6. When you recite the Qur’an.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 26

وَهُمۡ يَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنۡهُ وَيَنۡـَٔوۡنَ عَنۡهُۖ وَإِن يُهۡلِكُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

26. They prohibit (others) from the Qur’an and distance themselves as well, and they only cause to perish themselves while they do not perceive.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 27

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَٰلَيۡتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

27. If you could but see (them) when they are made to stand before the eternal Fire, then they will say: "Oh, would that we were sent back (to the world), and we would not deny the Signs of (Allah) our Lord and we would be of the believers."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 28

بَلۡ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يُخۡفُونَ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَلَوۡ رُدُّواْ لَعَادُواْ لِمَا نُهُواْ عَنۡهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

28. But what they used to conceal (from themselves) in the past (of the Truth) will become manifest to them. Even if they were sent back (to the world), they would certainly go back to that which they were forbidden, and they are certainly liars.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 29

وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَبۡعُوثِينَ

29. They say: "There is nothing but our life of this world, and we shall not be raised up (from the dead for Judgment)."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 30

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡۚ قَالَ أَلَيۡسَ هَٰذَا بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَاۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ

30. If you could but see (them) when they are made to stand before their Lord (Allah). He will say: "Is not this the Truth?" They will say: "Yes, by (Allah) our Lord." He will say: "Taste then the torment, because you used to deny (the Truth)."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 31

قَدۡ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَآءِ ٱللَّهِۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغۡتَةٗ قَالُواْ يَٰحَسۡرَتَنَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطۡنَا فِيهَا وَهُمۡ يَحۡمِلُونَ أَوۡزَارَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِمۡۚ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ

31. They are losers indeed who deny the Meeting of Allah; until when the Hour 'of Doom' comes upon them all of a sudden, they cry: "O how great is our regret for our neglecting it." They will bear their burdens on their backs. Evil is that which they bear.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 32

وَمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَآ إِلَّا لَعِبٞ وَلَهۡوٞۖ وَلَلدَّارُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

32. This worldly life is nothing but play and a passing delight, and certainly the home of the Hereafter is better for those who fear Allah and shun evil. Do you not then understand?

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 33

قَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيَحۡزُنُكَ ٱلَّذِي يَقُولُونَۖ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَا يُكَذِّبُونَكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يَجۡحَدُونَ

33. We know well that what they say grieves you, but it is not you that they deny; but the unjust reject the Signs of Allah.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 34

وَلَقَدۡ كُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلٞ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَصَبَرُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا كُذِّبُواْ وَأُوذُواْ حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰهُمۡ نَصۡرُنَاۚ وَلَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَٰتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَكَ مِن نَّبَإِيْ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

34. (Many) messengers before you were rejected, but they patiently persevered inspite of their having been rejected and persecuted until Our Help came to them. None can change the Words of Allah. There has certainly come to you some news about the Messengers (before you).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 35

وَإِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيۡكَ إِعۡرَاضُهُمۡ فَإِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتَ أَن تَبۡتَغِيَ نَفَقٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَوۡ سُلَّمٗا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَتَأۡتِيَهُم بِـَٔايَةٖۚ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰۚ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ

35. If their turning away is hard on you, then if you can seek a tunnel (to go down) into the earth or a ladder (to ascend up) to the heaven to bring them a Sign (to convince them all, then do so) but (remember that) if Allah had willed, He would certainly have gathered them all on guidance, so be not of the ignorants.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 36

۞ إِنَّمَا يَسۡتَجِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡمَعُونَۘ وَٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ يَبۡعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ يُرۡجَعُونَ

36. Only those who listen (attentively) will respond; but (as to) the dead (of heart, the deniers), Allah will resurrect them, then to Him they will be (all) returned.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 37

وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُنَزِّلَ ءَايَةٗ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

37. They say: "Why has not a Sign been sent down to him from his Lord (Allah)?" Say: "Allah is Able to send down a Sign, but most of them do not know."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 38

وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا طَٰٓئِرٖ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيۡهِ إِلَّآ أُمَمٌ أَمۡثَالُكُمۚ مَّا فَرَّطۡنَا فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يُحۡشَرُونَ

38. There is no a single moving creature on the earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings but (they are) communities like you. We have not neglected anything in the Book (the Preserved Tablet), then to their Lord (Allah) they will be gathered.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 39

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا صُمّٞ وَبُكۡمٞ فِي ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِۗ مَن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يُضۡلِلۡهُ وَمَن يَشَأۡ يَجۡعَلۡهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ

39. Those who reject Our Verses (of the Qur'an) are deaf and dumb, in utter darknesses. Whomever Allah wills, He (justly) leaves astray, and whomever He wills He puts on the right Path (out of His immense Favor and Grace).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 40

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتَكُمۡ إِنۡ أَتَىٰكُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡ أَتَتۡكُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ تَدۡعُونَ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

40. Say: "Tell me if the torment of Allah befalls you or the Hour 'of Doom' comes upon you, will you call to any other than Allah for help, if you are truthful?"

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 41

بَلۡ إِيَّاهُ تَدۡعُونَ فَيَكۡشِفُ مَا تَدۡعُونَ إِلَيۡهِ إِن شَآءَ وَتَنسَوۡنَ مَا تُشۡرِكُونَ

41. No, it is Him (Allah alone) you pray to, so He clears away that for which you pray if He wills, and you forget what you set up (with Him as partners).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 42

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ

42. We sent (messengers) to many (sinful) nations before you, then We seized them with poverty and illness in order that they might humble themselves (to Allah).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 43

فَلَوۡلَآ إِذۡ جَآءَهُم بَأۡسُنَا تَضَرَّعُواْ وَلَٰكِن قَسَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

43. Yet why did they not, when Our wrath came to them, humble themselves (to Allah)? But their hearts were hardened 'as stone', and Satan made all that they used to do fair-seeming to them.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 44

فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِۦ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَبۡوَٰبَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَرِحُواْ بِمَآ أُوتُوٓاْ أَخَذۡنَٰهُم بَغۡتَةٗ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبۡلِسُونَ

44. When they forgot that with which they had been admonished with, We opened for them the doors of every (good) thing, until when they rejoiced in what they were given, We seized them suddenly; then at once they were in utter despair.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 45

فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْۚ وَٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

45. So the people who worked iniquity (by associating others with Allah) to the very last one of them were cut off. All Praise be to Allah, the Sovereign Lord of all beings.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 46

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ سَمۡعَكُمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرَكُمۡ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُم مَّنۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأۡتِيكُم بِهِۗ ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ ثُمَّ هُمۡ يَصۡدِفُونَ

46. Say: "Have you considered that if Allah were to take away your hearing and your sights and set a seal on your hearts, is there a god other than Allah that can bring it to you?" See how We diversify the Verses, yet they turn away (from the Truth).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 47

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتَكُمۡ إِنۡ أَتَىٰكُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ بَغۡتَةً أَوۡ جَهۡرَةً هَلۡ يُهۡلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

47. Say: "Have you considered if the torment of Allah comes upon you suddenly or openly, will any be caused to perish except the unjust."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 48

وَمَا نُرۡسِلُ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَۖ فَمَنۡ ءَامَنَ وَأَصۡلَحَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ

48. We do not send the messengers except as announcers of good news and as warners. Whoever believes and lives righteously, they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 49

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡسُقُونَ

49. But those who reject Our verses (of the Qur'an); the torment will afflict them, because they used to disobey (Allah and transgress His verses).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 50

قُل لَّآ أَقُولُ لَكُمۡ عِندِي خَزَآئِنُ ٱللَّهِ وَلَآ أَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبَ وَلَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمۡ إِنِّي مَلَكٌۖ إِنۡ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّۚ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِيرُۚ أَفَلَا تَتَفَكَّرُونَ

50. Say 'Muhammad': "I would not tell you that I have with me the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel." I only follow what is revealed to me. Say: "Are the blind and the seeing alike?" Do you not then reflect?

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 51

وَأَنذِرۡ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَن يُحۡشَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ لَيۡسَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ وَلِيّٞ وَلَا شَفِيعٞ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ

51. Warn by it (the Qur’an) those who fear that they will be gathered to their Lord (Allah) - that there will be no guardian (savior), nor any intercessor besides Him - that they may fear Allah and shun evil7.

7. Having a constant commitment to just do the right thing helps us get and stay good.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 52

وَلَا تَطۡرُدِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلۡعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَهُۥۖ مَا عَلَيۡكَ مِنۡ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖ وَمَا مِنۡ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَتَطۡرُدَهُمۡ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

52. Do not send away those who pray to their Lord (Allah alone) in the morning and the evening, seeking only His Face; neither upon you is anything of their account, nor upon them is anything of your account, so were you to send them away, you would (then) be of the unjust.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 53

وَكَذَٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعۡضَهُم بِبَعۡضٖ لِّيَقُولُوٓاْ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنۢ بَيۡنِنَآۗ أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعۡلَمَ بِٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ

53. Thus do We try some of them by others, so that those (of wealthier deniers) may say: "Are these (poor believers) the ones upon whom Allah has favored among us (by His guidance)? Does not Allah best know the thankful?"

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 54

وَإِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَقُلۡ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَةَ أَنَّهُۥ مَنۡ عَمِلَ مِنكُمۡ سُوٓءَۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٖ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ وَأَصۡلَحَ فَأَنَّهُۥ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

54. When those who believe in Our verses (of the Qur’an) come to you, say: "Peace be with you, your Lord (Allah) has ordained Mercy for Himself, (so) that if any one of you does evil out of ignorance, then repents after that and lives righteously, then He (Allah) is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 55

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ وَلِتَسۡتَبِينَ سَبِيلُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

55. Thus do We detail the Verses that the way of the wicked may become clear.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 56

قُلۡ إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۚ قُل لَّآ أَتَّبِعُ أَهۡوَآءَكُمۡ قَدۡ ضَلَلۡتُ إِذٗا وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ

56. Say 'Muhammad': "I am forbidden to worship those whom you invoke besides Allah." Say: "I do not follow your low desires. For then indeed I would have gone astray, and I would not be of the rightly guided."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 57

قُلۡ إِنِّي عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي وَكَذَّبۡتُم بِهِۦۚ مَا عِندِي مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ بِهِۦٓۚ إِنِ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِۖ يَقُصُّ ٱلۡحَقَّۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡفَٰصِلِينَ

57. Say: "I am on clear Proof from (Allah) my Lord, yet you deny Him; I have not with me that (Punishment) which you hasten. The Judgment is only for Allah. He relates the Truth and He is the Best of judges.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 58

قُل لَّوۡ أَنَّ عِندِي مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ بِهِۦ لَقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

58. Say: "If that (Punishment) which you desire to hasten were with me, the matter would have certainly been decided between me and you. Allah knows best the unjust.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 59

۞ وَعِندَهُۥ مَفَاتِحُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ لَا يَعۡلَمُهَآ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۚ وَمَا تَسۡقُطُ مِن وَرَقَةٍ إِلَّا يَعۡلَمُهَا وَلَا حَبَّةٖ فِي ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا رَطۡبٖ وَلَا يَابِسٍ إِلَّا فِي كِتَٰبٖ مُّبِينٖ

59. Allah has the keys of the unseen - none knows them except Him. He knows what is in the land and the sea. Not a leaf falls without His knowledge, nor a grain in the darknesses of the earth, nor anything green or dry but (is) in a Clear Record.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 60

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم بِٱلَّيۡلِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا جَرَحۡتُم بِٱلنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبۡعَثُكُمۡ فِيهِ لِيُقۡضَىٰٓ أَجَلٞ مُّسَمّٗىۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

60. It is He (Allah) Who takes your souls at night (in sleep), and He knows what you have done by day. Then He raises you up therein (i.e., by day) so that an appointed term may be fulfilled. To Him is your (final) return and He will inform you of what you used to do.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 61

وَهُوَ ٱلۡقَاهِرُ فَوۡقَ عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَيُرۡسِلُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَفَظَةً حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ تَوَفَّتۡهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمۡ لَا يُفَرِّطُونَ

61. He (Allah) is the Subjugator over His slaves (of mankind and jinn). He sends keepers (angels) over you; until when death comes to one of you, Our (angelic) messengers cause him to die, and they never neglect their duty.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 62

ثُمَّ رُدُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَوۡلَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡحَقِّۚ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ وَهُوَ أَسۡرَعُ ٱلۡحَٰسِبِينَ

62. Then they (humans and jinn) are sent back to Allah, their (real) Master, the True One. Undoubtedly, His is the Judgment, and He is the Swiftest of all reckoners.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 63

قُلۡ مَن يُنَجِّيكُم مِّن ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ تَدۡعُونَهُۥ تَضَرُّعٗا وَخُفۡيَةٗ لَّئِنۡ أَنجَىٰنَا مِنۡ هَٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ

63. Say: "Who is it that delivers you from the dangers of the land and sea (when) you pray to Him humbling yourselves, and in secret (invoking): "If He (Allah) delivers us from this, we shall be of the thankful ones."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 64

قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُنَجِّيكُم مِّنۡهَا وَمِن كُلِّ كَرۡبٖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ تُشۡرِكُونَ

64. Say: "Allah delivers you from this and from every distress, then again you set up others (with Him as partners in worship)."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 65

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلۡقَادِرُ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَبۡعَثَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابٗا مِّن فَوۡقِكُمۡ أَوۡ مِن تَحۡتِ أَرۡجُلِكُمۡ أَوۡ يَلۡبِسَكُمۡ شِيَعٗا وَيُذِيقَ بَعۡضَكُم بَأۡسَ بَعۡضٍۗ ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَفۡقَهُونَ

65. Say: "He has the Power to send on you a torment from above you or from under your feet, or to cover you with confusion in (tribal or) party strife; and make you taste the violence of one another. See how We diversify the Verses that they may discern.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 66

وَكَذَّبَ بِهِۦ قَوۡمُكَ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّۚ قُل لَّسۡتُ عَلَيۡكُم بِوَكِيلٖ

66. But your people have denied it (the Qur’an), though it is the very Truth. Say: "I have not been placed in charge of you."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 67

لِّكُلِّ نَبَإٖ مُّسۡتَقَرّٞۚ وَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

67. For every news is an appointed term. You will soon come to know.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 68

وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيۡرِهِۦۚ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ فَلَا تَقۡعُدۡ بَعۡدَ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

68. When you see those who enter into false discourses about Our revelations, withdraw from them until they enter into some other discourse. If Satan causes you to forget, then do not sit after remembrance with the unjust people.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 69

وَمَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ مِنۡ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖ وَلَٰكِن ذِكۡرَىٰ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ

69. Those who fear Allah and shun evil are in no way responsible for the deniers, but (their duty) is only to remind them of their duty towards Allah (God).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 70

وَذَرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمۡ لَعِبٗا وَلَهۡوٗا وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَذَكِّرۡ بِهِۦٓ أَن تُبۡسَلَ نَفۡسُۢ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ لَيۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٞ وَلَا شَفِيعٞ وَإِن تَعۡدِلۡ كُلَّ عَدۡلٖ لَّا يُؤۡخَذۡ مِنۡهَآۗ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُبۡسِلُواْ بِمَا كَسَبُواْۖ لَهُمۡ شَرَابٞ مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡفُرُونَ

70. Leave alone those who occupy themselves in (sinful) play and pastime, and whom this worldly life has deceived. But admonish them (with the Qur’an), lest a soul should be given up to destruction for what it has earned (of sins); it will not have besides Allah any guardian (lord, savior) nor an intercessor. If it offers every ransom to save itself, it will not be accepted from it. These are the ones who shall be given up to destruction for what they earned (of polytheism and sins). They will have a drink of hot boiling water and a painful torment because they used to deny (the Truth and oppose the Peace).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 71

قُلۡ أَنَدۡعُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُنَا وَلَا يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡقَابِنَا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ كَٱلَّذِي ٱسۡتَهۡوَتۡهُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ حَيۡرَانَ لَهُۥٓ أَصۡحَٰبٞ يَدۡعُونَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱلۡهُدَى ٱئۡتِنَاۗ قُلۡ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰۖ وَأُمِرۡنَا لِنُسۡلِمَ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

71. Say: "Shall we call on besides Allah that (idols) which does not benefit us nor harm us, and shall we return back on our heels after Allah has guided us, like him whom the devils confused and have made to go astray (wandering) through the earth?" He has companions who call him to guidance, (saying): "Come to us." Say: "The guidance of Allah, that is the (only right) guidance, and we are commanded to submit to (Allah) the Sovereign Lord of all beings.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 72

وَأَنۡ أَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّقُوهُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ

72. Be steadfast in prayer and have fear of Allah (God). He it is to Whom you shall be (all) gathered (for Judgment).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 73

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ وَيَوۡمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُۚ قَوۡلُهُ ٱلۡحَقُّۚ وَلَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِۚ عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

73. It is He (Allah) Who has created the heavens and the earth in truth, and on the Day He (will) say: "Be," and it is. His Word is the Truth. The Kingdom will be His alone on the Day when the trumpet will be blown. the Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the All-Wise, the All-Aware.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 74

۞ وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ ءَازَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصۡنَامًا ءَالِهَةً إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰكَ وَقَوۡمَكَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

74. 'Mention' when Abraham said to his father Azar: "Why do you take idols for gods? I see you and your people in absolute error."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 75

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِيٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُوقِنِينَ

75. Thus did We show Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth to strengthen his faith with certainty.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 76

فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلَّيۡلُ رَءَا كَوۡكَبٗاۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّيۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَآ أُحِبُّ ٱلۡأٓفِلِينَ

76. When the night over-shadowed him with its darkness, he saw a star; he said: "Is this my Lord?" So when it set, he said: "I do not like those that set."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 77

فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلۡقَمَرَ بَازِغٗا قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّيۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِن لَّمۡ يَهۡدِنِي رَبِّي لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

77. When he saw the moon rising, he said: "Is this my Lord?" So when it set, he said: "If (Allah) my Lord guides me not, I will certainly be of those astray."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 78

فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ بَازِغَةٗ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي هَٰذَآ أَكۡبَرُۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَتۡ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

78. When he (Abraham) saw the sun rising, he said: "Is this my Lord?" This is greater. So when it set, he said: "People, I am clear from what you associate (with Allah)."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 79

إِنِّي وَجَّهۡتُ وَجۡهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

79. I turn my face to He (Allah alone) Who originated the heavens and the earth, and I am not an idol worshipper.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 80

وَحَآجَّهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥۚ قَالَ أَتُحَٰٓجُّوٓنِّي فِي ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنِۚ وَلَآ أَخَافُ مَا تُشۡرِكُونَ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ رَبِّي شَيۡـٔٗاۚ وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ عِلۡمًاۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

80. His people argued with him. He said: "Do you argue with me concerning Allah (God) when indeed He has guided me? I do not fear the idols you associate with Him, (none can harm me) unless (Allah) my Lord wills something. My Lord (Allah) comprehends all things in His Knowledge (and Power). Will you not then take heed?"

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 81

وَكَيۡفَ أَخَافُ مَآ أَشۡرَكۡتُمۡ وَلَا تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمۡ أَشۡرَكۡتُم بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ يُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ عَلَيۡكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٗاۚ فَأَيُّ ٱلۡفَرِيقَيۡنِ أَحَقُّ بِٱلۡأَمۡنِۖ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

81. "How should I fear the idols you associate with Him in worship while you do not fear that you have associated with Allah for which He has sent down no Authority? Which then of the two parties has more right to security, if you really know?"

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 82

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَمۡ يَلۡبِسُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنَهُم بِظُلۡمٍ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡنُ وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ

82. Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and worship none but Him) and do not mix up their faith with iniquity8; these are the ones who shall have the 'real' security and they are the rightly guided.

8. By worshiping others besides Allah or by committing other deadly sins, e.g., disbelief, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, treason, exploitation of the vulnerable, neglecting obligations of the prayer, zakat, fasting of Ramadan, or the hajj.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 83

وَتِلۡكَ حُجَّتُنَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦۚ نَرۡفَعُ دَرَجَٰتٖ مَّن نَّشَآءُۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ

83. This was Our (conclusive) Argument which We gave to Abraham against his people. We raise in degree whom We will. (Allah) your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 84

وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَۚ كُلًّا هَدَيۡنَاۚ وَنُوحًا هَدَيۡنَا مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِۦ دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيۡمَٰنَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

84. We granted him Isaac and Jacob. Each did We guide. Noah did We guide before, and of his descendants: David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 85

وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحۡيَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَإِلۡيَاسَۖ كُلّٞ مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

85. Zachariah, John, Jesus and Elijah - all of them were of the righteous;

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 86

وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلۡيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطٗاۚ وَكُلّٗا فَضَّلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

86. Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah and Lot - each one We preferred over all other people (of their times).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 87

وَمِنۡ ءَابَآئِهِمۡ وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمۡ وَإِخۡوَٰنِهِمۡۖ وَٱجۡتَبَيۡنَٰهُمۡ وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ

87.And some of their fathers, descendants, and brethren - We chose them and guided them to a Right Path (I.e., Islam).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 88

ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِي بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَلَوۡ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَحَبِطَ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

88. This is Allah’s Guidance, He guides thereby whom He wills of His servants. If they had associated others with Allah in worship, all their deeds would have been in vain for them.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 89

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَۚ فَإِن يَكۡفُرۡ بِهَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ فَقَدۡ وَكَّلۡنَا بِهَا قَوۡمٗا لَّيۡسُواْ بِهَا بِكَٰفِرِينَ

89. These are the ones to whom We gave the Scripture, sound judgement, and Prophethood; but if these (pagans) deny it, then We have already entrusted with it a people who would never deny them9.

9. I.e., the Prophet Muhammad and his followers.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 90

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُۖ فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ ٱقۡتَدِهۡۗ قُل لَّآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَجۡرًاۖ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

90. These are the ones whom Allah guided (to Islam), so follow their guidance. Say: "I do not ask you for any reward for it - it is but a reminder to the nations."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 91

وَمَا قَدَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِهِۦٓ إِذۡ قَالُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٖ مِّن شَيۡءٖۗ قُلۡ مَنۡ أَنزَلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِي جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورٗا وَهُدٗى لِّلنَّاسِۖ تَجۡعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبۡدُونَهَا وَتُخۡفُونَ كَثِيرٗاۖ وَعُلِّمۡتُم مَّا لَمۡ تَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنتُمۡ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمۡۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ ثُمَّ ذَرۡهُمۡ فِي خَوۡضِهِمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ

91. They do not assign to Allah the proper estimation (or the Attributes) due to Him when they say: "Allah has not sent down anything to a human being." Say: "Who sent down the Scripture (the Torah) which Moses brought, a Light and a Guidance to the people, which you make into scattered writings which you show (some of it), while you conceal much?10" while you (pagans) were taught what you did not know, (neither) you nor your fathers." Say: "Allah," then leave them to amuse themselves in their vain talk.

10. One very important fact they tried to hide was Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) Messengership.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 92

وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٞ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَاۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۖ وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ

92. This is a blessed Book (Qur’an) which We have sent down, confirming what came before it (of the Torah and the Evangel), and that you may warn the mother of the towns (Makkah) and all around it.Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it (the Qur’an), and they are constant in maintaining their prayers.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 93

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ قَالَ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمۡ يُوحَ إِلَيۡهِ شَيۡءٞ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثۡلَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُۗ وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَٰتِ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ بَاسِطُوٓاْ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ أَخۡرِجُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمُۖ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ عَذَابَ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَكُنتُمۡ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

93. Who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah, or says: "It has been revealed to me;" while nothing has been revealed to him, and he who says: "I can send down the like of what Allah has sent down (of revelation)?" If you could but see when the workers of iniquity shall be in the throes of death and the angels shall spread forth their hands (saying): "Give up your souls; today you shall be recompensed with the torment of humiliation, for you spoke against Allah other than the Truth, and you used to show arrogance against His verses (of the Qur’an)."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 94

وَلَقَدۡ جِئۡتُمُونَا فُرَٰدَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ وَتَرَكۡتُم مَّا خَوَّلۡنَٰكُمۡ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِكُمۡۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمۡ شُفَعَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ فِيكُمۡ شُرَكَٰٓؤُاْۚ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ

94. Indeed you have come to Us solitary, each alone, as We created you at first and you have left behind your backs all the things which We gave you. We do not see with you your intercessors (and mediators) about whom you claimed that they were (Allah’s) associates with regard yourselves. Indeed the ties between you are now cut off, and what you presumed has failed you.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 95

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَالِقُ ٱلۡحَبِّ وَٱلنَّوَىٰۖ يُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَيَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ وَمُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ مِنَ ٱلۡحَيِّۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ

95. It is Allah Who causes the seed-grain and the fruit stone to split and sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead, and He brings forth the dead from the living; that is Allah (your real Lord). How are you then turned away (from the Truth)?

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 96

فَالِقُ ٱلۡإِصۡبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيۡلَ سَكَنٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ حُسۡبَانٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ

96. 'He is' the cleaver of daybreak. He has made the night for rest, and the sun and moon for reckoning (of time).That is the measure of 'Allah' the All-Mighty, the All- Knowing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 97

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهۡتَدُواْ بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡلَمُونَ

97. It is He (Allah) Who has made the stars for you that you might be guided by them in the darknesses of the land and the sea. We have certainly detailed the Signs for a people who know11.

11. Day break, the sun, the moon and the stars are among the many cosmic Signs that need to be contemplated and pondered upon to lead to believing in The Oneness of God; that there is only one God with no partners and that there was no God before him or after him, and that Prophet Muhammad is His last and final messenger. Monotheism further refers to the nature of God—that he is not composed, not triune god, but One and only diety who has no partners.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 98

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ فَمُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمُسۡتَوۡدَعٞۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَفۡقَهُونَ

98. It is He (Allah) Who has brought you into being from a single soul (Adam), then there is (for you) a resting-place (on the earth) and a depository (in your graves). Indeed We have detailed the Signs for a people who understand.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 99

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهُ خَضِرٗا نُّخۡرِجُ مِنۡهُ حَبّٗا مُّتَرَاكِبٗا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخۡلِ مِن طَلۡعِهَا قِنۡوَانٞ دَانِيَةٞ وَجَنَّٰتٖ مِّنۡ أَعۡنَابٖ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشۡتَبِهٗا وَغَيۡرَ مُتَشَٰبِهٍۗ ٱنظُرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثۡمَرَ وَيَنۡعِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكُمۡ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

99. It is He (Allah) Who sends down water from the sky, then We bring forth with it buds of all (plants), then We bring forth from it green (foliage) from which We produce grain piled up; and of the palm-tree, from the sheaths of it come forth clusters (of dates) within reach, and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates - similar (in shape) yet different (in taste). Look at (each of) its fruit when it yields and at its ripening. Indeed there are Signs in this for a people who believe (in the Oneness of God).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 100

وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمۡۖ وَخَرَقُواْ لَهُۥ بَنِينَ وَبَنَٰتِۭ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

100. Yet they make the jinn (unseen beings, demons) associates with Allah (God), while He created them. They falsely attribute to Him sons and daughters without (Divine) knowledge. Glory be to Him (Allah), and highly exalted is He above what they ascribe (to Him as partners).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 101

بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞ وَلَمۡ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَٰحِبَةٞۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ

101. Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He (Allah) have a son (or daughter) when He does not have a consort, and He (Himself) created everything? He is the Knower of all things.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 102

ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَكِيلٞ

102. That is Allah, your (real) Lord, there is no 'true' God except Him. (He is) the Creator of all things, so worship Him alone. He takes care of every thing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 103

لَّا تُدۡرِكُهُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدۡرِكُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

103. No vision can grasp Him, but His Grasp is over (all) vision. He (Allah) is the All-Knowing of subtleties, the All-Aware.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 104

قَدۡ جَآءَكُم بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ فَمَنۡ أَبۡصَرَ فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِيَ فَعَلَيۡهَاۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيۡكُم بِحَفِيظٖ

104. Indeed there have come to you clear Proofs from (Allah) your Lord. So whoever (chooses to) see (and follow the right Way), it is for his own soul. Whoever blinds himself (from the Truth), it will be against himself. 'Say,' 'I am not a keeper over you'.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 105

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ وَلِيَقُولُواْ دَرَسۡتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡلَمُونَ

105. Thus do We (Allah) diversify the Verses so 'the deniers' will say, ‘You have studied,’ and so We may make (the Qur’an) clear for a people who (want to) know.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 106

ٱتَّبِعۡ مَآ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

106. Follow what is revealed to you from (Allah) your Lord; there is no 'true' God except Him. Turn away from the polytheists.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 107

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكُواْۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَفِيظٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِوَكِيلٖ

107. If Allah had willed, they would not have associated others with Him in worship. We have not appointed you a keeper over them, nor are you a trustee over them.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 108

وَلَا تَسُبُّواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَسُبُّواْ ٱللَّهَ عَدۡوَۢا بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۗ كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمۡ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرۡجِعُهُمۡ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

108. Do not abuse those whom they worship besides Allah, lest exceeding the limits they abuse Allah out of ignorance. Thus have We made fair seeming to every people its own doings; then to their Lord (Allah) will be their (final) return, so He will inform them of what they were doing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 109

وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَئِن جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَةٞ لَّيُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِهَاۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَا يُشۡعِرُكُمۡ أَنَّهَآ إِذَا جَآءَتۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

109. They swear by Allah with their strongest of their oaths, that if a miracle comes to them they will certainly believe in it. Say: "Miracles are only with Allah." What will make you know that when the Miracles come they will (still) not believe?

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 110

وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفۡـِٔدَتَهُمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ كَمَا لَمۡ يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ وَنَذَرُهُمۡ فِي طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ

110. We will turn their hearts and their sights (from the Truth), as they believed not in it at the first instance, and We shall leave them in their transgressing, wandering blindly.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 111

۞ وَلَوۡ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَحَشَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖ قُبُلٗا مَّا كَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ يَجۡهَلُونَ

111. Even if We had sent down to them the angels, and the dead had spoken to them, and We had brought together all things before them, they would not believe, unless Allah wills, but most of them (of that) are ignorant.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 112

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوّٗا شَيَٰطِينَ ٱلۡإِنسِ وَٱلۡجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعۡضُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ زُخۡرُفَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ غُرُورٗاۚ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُۖ فَذَرۡهُمۡ وَمَا يَفۡتَرُونَ

112. Thus did We make for every prophet an enemy, devils from among men and jinn, some of them suggesting to others adorned speech (of falsehood) to deceive (them). Had your Lord (Allah) willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 113

وَلِتَصۡغَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِ أَفۡـِٔدَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَلِيَرۡضَوۡهُ وَلِيَقۡتَرِفُواْ مَا هُم مُّقۡتَرِفُونَ

113. So that the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter may incline to such (deceit), and may be well pleased with it, and may earn what they are going to earn (of evil).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 114

أَفَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡتَغِي حَكَمٗا وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مُفَصَّلٗاۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَعۡلَمُونَ أَنَّهُۥ مُنَزَّلٞ مِّن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُمۡتَرِينَ

114. Shall I then seek a judge other than Allah? It is He Who has sent down to you the Book (this Qur’an), explained in detail. Those whom We have given the (past) Scripture know that it (the Qur’an) is sent down from (Allah) your Lord in truth, so be not of the doubters.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 115

وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدۡقٗا وَعَدۡلٗاۚ لَّا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

115. The Word of (Allah) your Lord has been accomplished truly and justly. None can change His words - He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 116

وَإِن تُطِعۡ أَكۡثَرَ مَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَخۡرُصُونَ

116. If you obey most of those on earth, they will lead you astray from God’s Way; they follow only conjecture, and they are only guessing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 117

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ مَن يَضِلُّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۖ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ

117. (Allah) your Lord - He knows best who goes astray from His way, and He knows best those who are guided.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 118

فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡهِ إِن كُنتُم بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنِينَ

118. So eat of that (meat) on which Allah’s Name has been mentioned12 - if indeed you are believers in His revelations.

12. At the time of slaughter

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 119

وَمَا لَكُمۡ أَلَّا تَأۡكُلُواْ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡهِ وَقَدۡ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِلَّا مَا ٱضۡطُرِرۡتُمۡ إِلَيۡهِۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا لَّيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهۡوَآئِهِم بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ

119. What reason have you that you should not eat of that on which the Name of Allah (God) has been mentioned13, while He has already explained to you in detail what has been forbidden to you - except what you are compelled to14. Indeed many 'deviants' would lead (people) astray by their lowly desires without any knowledge. Your Lord (Allah) knows best the transgressors.

13. Upon slaughtering it.
14. In cases of dire necessity, what is normally prohibited becomes permissible, but only to the extent of the need.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 120

وَذَرُواْ ظَٰهِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَبَاطِنَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكۡسِبُونَ ٱلۡإِثۡمَ سَيُجۡزَوۡنَ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَقۡتَرِفُونَ

120. Abandon (all) sin, that is apparent and that which is concealed. Those who earn sin will be recompensed with what they earned (of sins).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 121

وَلَا تَأۡكُلُواْ مِمَّا لَمۡ يُذۡكَرِ ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡهِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِسۡقٞۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَوۡلِيَآئِهِمۡ لِيُجَٰدِلُوكُمۡۖ وَإِنۡ أَطَعۡتُمُوهُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ لَمُشۡرِكُونَ

121. Do not eat of that on which the Name of Allah (God) has not been mentioned. It (the eating thereof) is a grave sin. Indeed, the devils do inspire to their allies (among men) to dispute with you. If you obey them, you are certainly idolaters (like them).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 122

أَوَمَن كَانَ مَيۡتٗا فَأَحۡيَيۡنَٰهُ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُۥ نُورٗا يَمۡشِي بِهِۦ فِي ٱلنَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُۥ فِي ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ لَيۡسَ بِخَارِجٖ مِّنۡهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

122. Is he who was dead (heedless of faith), then We gave him (meaningful) life (by accepting Islam), and set for him a Light (right Guidance) by which he walks among the people (uprightly), like him (the denier) whose likeness is that of one in utter darkness where he cannot come forth? Thus what they do is made fair seeming to the deniers.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 123

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرۡيَةٍ أَكَٰبِرَ مُجۡرِمِيهَا لِيَمۡكُرُواْ فِيهَاۖ وَمَا يَمۡكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

123. Thus have We made in every town leaders from its wicked ones to conspire therein. But they do not conspire except against themselves, and they do not perceive (it).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 124

وَإِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَةٞ قَالُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤۡتَىٰ مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ حَيۡثُ يَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥۗ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ صَغَارٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعَذَابٞ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَمۡكُرُونَ

124. When a Sign comes to them they say: "We shall not believe till we are given the like of what Allah’s messengers were given." Allah knows best where He places His message. There will befall those who commit (great) crimes humiliation from Allah and a severe torment, for their scheming.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 125

فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهۡدِيَهُۥ يَشۡرَحۡ صَدۡرَهُۥ لِلۡإِسۡلَٰمِۖ وَمَن يُرِدۡ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجۡعَلۡ صَدۡرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجٗا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

125. Whoever Allah wills to guide, He opens wide his chest for Islam, and (for) whom He wills to leave astray, He makes his chest tight and constricted as though he were ascending upwards towards the sky. Thus does Allah place abomination on those who do not believe (the Truth).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 126

وَهَٰذَا صِرَٰطُ رَبِّكَ مُسۡتَقِيمٗاۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

126. This is the Path of your Lord (Allah) a straight one; indeed We have made the Verses clear for a people who take heed.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 127

۞ لَهُمۡ دَارُ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

127. For them is the Home of Peace (Paradise) with their Lord (Allah). He is their Guardian (Protector, Savior), because of what they used to do (of good deeds).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 128

وَيَوۡمَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِيعٗا يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ قَدِ ٱسۡتَكۡثَرۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡإِنسِۖ وَقَالَ أَوۡلِيَآؤُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡإِنسِ رَبَّنَا ٱسۡتَمۡتَعَ بَعۡضُنَا بِبَعۡضٖ وَبَلَغۡنَآ أَجَلَنَا ٱلَّذِيٓ أَجَّلۡتَ لَنَاۚ قَالَ ٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوَىٰكُمۡ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ

128. On the Day when He will gather them all together (for Judgment, saying): " Assembly of jinn, you took away a great part of mankind". Their allies from among men will say: "(O Allah) our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have (now) reached our appointed term which You did appoint for us". He will say: "The Fire (of Hell) is your Home to abide therein forever except as Allah may will." (Allah) your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 129

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُوَلِّي بَعۡضَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ بَعۡضَۢا بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

129. Thus do We make some of the workers of iniquity to support one another (in committing crimes) because of what they used to earn (of evil deeds).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 130

يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ رُسُلٞ مِّنكُمۡ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِي وَيُنذِرُونَكُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَاۚ قَالُواْ شَهِدۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِنَاۖ وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَشَهِدُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ كَٰفِرِينَ

130. "You assembly of jinn and humans, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." This world’s life deceived them15, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were deniers.

15. This is the reason behind that they were straying; they were lured by this worldly life and all the pleasures it has to offer.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 131

ذَٰلِكَ أَن لَّمۡ يَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ بِظُلۡمٖ وَأَهۡلُهَا غَٰفِلُونَ

131. This is because your Lord (Allah) would not destroy towns unjustly while their people were not warned.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 132

وَلِكُلّٖ دَرَجَٰتٞ مِّمَّا عَمِلُواْۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا يَعۡمَلُونَ

132. For all are ranks according to what they did. Your Lord (Allah) is not unaware of what they do16.

16. The different ranks people will occupy in the Hereafter either in Hell or Paradise, will be each according to their deeds. The more good one does, the higher rank they will have in Paradise, the more evil one commits the severer the place in Hell.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 133

وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ ذُو ٱلرَّحۡمَةِۚ إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَخۡلِفۡ مِنۢ بَعۡدِكُم مَّا يَشَآءُ كَمَآ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن ذُرِّيَّةِ قَوۡمٍ ءَاخَرِينَ

133. Your Lord (Allah) is the Rich (free of all needs), Possessor of Mercy. If He wills, He can do away with you, and replace you with whoever He wills, just as He raised you up from the offspring of another people.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 134

إِنَّ مَا تُوعَدُونَ لَأٓتٖۖ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ

134. What you are promised must come to pass, and you cannot escape (it).

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 135

قُلۡ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنِّي عَامِلٞۖ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

135. Say: "People, work according to your capacities and positions; for indeed I am working (in God's way); so you will soon come to know, for whom will be the (good) end of the Home (of Bliss). The workers of iniquity will not succeed.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 136

وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَرۡثِ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ نَصِيبٗا فَقَالُواْ هَٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعۡمِهِمۡ وَهَٰذَا لِشُرَكَآئِنَاۖ فَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَآئِهِمۡ فَلَا يَصِلُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَآئِهِمۡۗ سَآءَ مَا يَحۡكُمُونَ

136. They (the idolaters) set apart a portion for Allah out of what He has created of crops and cattle, and say: "This is for Allah" - so they claim, "and this for our partners (idols)." But what is (allocated) for their idols, it does not reach Allah, while what is (allocated) for Allah, it reaches their idols17. Evil it is that which they judge.

17. It was an Arab heathen ritual to allocate two shares out of their livestock; a share for God and a share for idols. If a portion of God’s share was mixed with that of their idols, they would not deduct it, saying that God is in no need of it. Yet if a portion of their idols’ share fell with that of God’s they would readily take it and add it on to their idols’ share.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 137

وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ قَتۡلَ أَوۡلَٰدِهِمۡ شُرَكَآؤُهُمۡ لِيُرۡدُوهُمۡ وَلِيَلۡبِسُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ دِينَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُۖ فَذَرۡهُمۡ وَمَا يَفۡتَرُونَ

137. Thus their (so called) partners  (i.e., demons) have made fair seeming to most of the idolaters the killing of their children, that they may ruin them and confuse them in their deeds. If Allah had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 138

وَقَالُواْ هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَنۡعَٰمٞ وَحَرۡثٌ حِجۡرٞ لَّا يَطۡعَمُهَآ إِلَّا مَن نَّشَآءُ بِزَعۡمِهِمۡ وَأَنۡعَٰمٌ حُرِّمَتۡ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنۡعَٰمٞ لَّا يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱسۡمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡهَا ٱفۡتِرَآءً عَلَيۡهِۚ سَيَجۡزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ

138. They say: "These cattle and crops are forbidden, none shall eat them except such as we will" - so they claim - and cattle whose backs are forbidden, and cattle on which they would not mention Allah’s Name - inventing a lie against Him. He will recompense them for what they invented.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 139

وَقَالُواْ مَا فِي بُطُونِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ خَالِصَةٞ لِّذُكُورِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِنَاۖ وَإِن يَكُن مَّيۡتَةٗ فَهُمۡ فِيهِ شُرَكَآءُۚ سَيَجۡزِيهِمۡ وَصۡفَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ

139. They also say: "What is in the wombs of these cattle is especially for our males, and forbidden to our wives." If it be stil-born, then they are all partners in it. He will recompense them for their attributing (of falsehood to Him). He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 140

قَدۡ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَتَلُوٓاْ أَوۡلَٰدَهُمۡ سَفَهَۢا بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖ وَحَرَّمُواْ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱفۡتِرَآءً عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ قَدۡ ضَلُّواْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهۡتَدِينَ

140. They are lost indeed who kill their children foolishly without knowledge, and forbid what Allah has given to them, inventing a lie against Allah. They have indeed gone astray, and were not guided.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 141

۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَ جَنَّٰتٖ مَّعۡرُوشَٰتٖ وَغَيۡرَ مَعۡرُوشَٰتٖ وَٱلنَّخۡلَ وَٱلزَّرۡعَ مُخۡتَلِفًا أُكُلُهُۥ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُتَشَٰبِهٗا وَغَيۡرَ مُتَشَٰبِهٖۚ كُلُواْ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثۡمَرَ وَءَاتُواْ حَقَّهُۥ يَوۡمَ حَصَادِهِۦۖ وَلَا تُسۡرِفُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ

141. It is He (Allah) Who produces gardens (of vine), trellised and untrellised, and palms and crops of different kinds of food, and olives and pomegranates, similar (in shape) yet different (in taste). Eat of its fruit when it bears fruit, and pay the due of it on the day of its harvest. Do not be wasteful. He (Allah) does not like the wasteful.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 142

وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ حَمُولَةٗ وَفَرۡشٗاۚ كُلُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ

142. Of cattle (He created) are carriers of burdens18 and those (too small) which are fit for slaughter only. Eat of what Allah has given you and do not follow the footsteps of Satan; for he is your sworn enemy.

18. The Prophet Muhammad said, "While a man was riding a cow, it turned towards him and said, 'I have not been created for this purpose (i.e. carrying), I have been created for ploughing." The Prophet went on, "A wolf caught a sheep, and when the shepherd chased it, the wolf said, 'Who will be its guard on the day of wild beasts, when there will be no shepherd for it except me?' "(It has been written that) a wolf also spoke to one of the companions of the Prophet near Medina. He said, "I was amongst my sheep. Suddenly a wolf caught a sheep and I shouted at it. The wolf sat on its tail and addressed me, saying, 'Who will look after it (i.e. the sheep) when you will be busy and not able to look after it? Do you forbid me the provision which Allah has provided me?' " He added, "I clapped my hands and said, 'By Allah, I have never seen anything more curious and wonderful than this!' On that the wolf said, 'There is something (more curious) and wonderful than this; that is, Muhammad, God's messenger, in those palm trees, inviting people to Allah God (i.e. Islam).' "Then he went to God's messenger and informed what happened and embraced Islam.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 143

ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزۡوَٰجٖۖ مِّنَ ٱلضَّأۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَمِنَ ٱلۡمَعۡزِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۗ قُلۡ ءَآلذَّكَرَيۡنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِ أَمَّا ٱشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَرۡحَامُ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِۖ نَبِّـُٔونِي بِعِلۡمٍ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

143. Eight in pairs - two of sheep and two of goats. Say: "Has He forbidden the two males or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Inform me with knowledge if you are truthful.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 144

وَمِنَ ٱلۡإِبِلِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَمِنَ ٱلۡبَقَرِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۗ قُلۡ ءَآلذَّكَرَيۡنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِ أَمَّا ٱشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَرۡحَامُ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِۖ أَمۡ كُنتُمۡ شُهَدَآءَ إِذۡ وَصَّىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَاۚ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗا لِّيُضِلَّ ٱلنَّاسَ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

144. And two of camels and two of cows. Say: "Has He forbidden the two males or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain?" Or were you witnesses when Allah enjoined you (with) that? Who then is more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah (God), to lead people astray without knowledge? Allah does not guide the unjust people.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 145

قُل لَّآ أَجِدُ فِي مَآ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَىٰ طَاعِمٖ يَطۡعَمُهُۥٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَكُونَ مَيۡتَةً أَوۡ دَمٗا مَّسۡفُوحًا أَوۡ لَحۡمَ خِنزِيرٖ فَإِنَّهُۥ رِجۡسٌ أَوۡ فِسۡقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيۡرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦۚ فَمَنِ ٱضۡطُرَّ غَيۡرَ بَاغٖ وَلَا عَادٖ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

145. Say 'Muhammad': "I do not find that which has been revealed to me anything forbidden for one to eat, unless it be carrion, or flowing blood, or pork, for indeed it is impure, or that which is (slaughtered in) transgression, dedicated to other than Allah; but whoever is forced by necessity, not desiring it nor exceeding due limits, then your Lord (Allah) is certainly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 146

وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمۡنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٖۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡبَقَرِ وَٱلۡغَنَمِ حَرَّمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ شُحُومَهُمَآ إِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتۡ ظُهُورُهُمَآ أَوِ ٱلۡحَوَايَآ أَوۡ مَا ٱخۡتَلَطَ بِعَظۡمٖۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِبَغۡيِهِمۡۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

146. To the Jews, We made unlawful every animal having claws19, and of oxen and sheep We made unlawful to them the fat of both, except such as was on their backs or their entrails or what was mixed with bones. This was a punishment which We repaid them for their wrongdoing, and We are certainly Truthful.

19. i.e., clawed animals that have nails in their toes, e.g., camels, ostriches, duck, geese, etc.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 147

فَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل رَّبُّكُمۡ ذُو رَحۡمَةٖ وَٰسِعَةٖ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَأۡسُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

147. But if they reject you (Muhammad), then say: "Your Lord (Allah) is the Lord of All-Encompassing Mercy; and His wrath cannot be averted from the wicked people."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 148

سَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكۡنَا وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِن شَيۡءٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ ذَاقُواْ بَأۡسَنَاۗ قُلۡ هَلۡ عِندَكُم مِّنۡ عِلۡمٖ فَتُخۡرِجُوهُ لَنَآۖ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا تَخۡرُصُونَ

148. The idolaters will say: "If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped idols, nor our fathers, nor would we have made anything unlawful; even so did those before them deny (God’s messengers) until they tasted the severity of Our wrath. Say: "Have you any (Divine) knowledge with you that you can produce for us?" You follow nothing but conjecture and you are only guessing.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 149

قُلۡ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡحُجَّةُ ٱلۡبَٰلِغَةُۖ فَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

149. Say: "With Allah is the best proof and argument" Had He so willed, He would certainly have guided you all.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 150

قُلۡ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشۡهَدُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَٰذَاۖ فَإِن شَهِدُواْ فَلَا تَشۡهَدۡ مَعَهُمۡۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ يَعۡدِلُونَ

150. Say: "Bring your witnesses who can testify that Allah has forbidden such (animals)." If they testify, do not bear witness with them. Do not follow the low desires of those who reject Our verses, and of those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while they make (others) equal to (Allah) their Lord.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 151

۞ قُلۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ أَتۡلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ أَلَّا تُشۡرِكُواْ بِهِۦ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ إِحۡسَٰنٗاۖ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوٓاْ أَوۡلَٰدَكُم مِّنۡ إِمۡلَٰقٖ نَّحۡنُ نَرۡزُقُكُمۡ وَإِيَّاهُمۡۖ وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ ٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنۡهَا وَمَا بَطَنَۖ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُواْ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِي حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ

151. Say 'Muhammad': "Come, I will recite what (Allah) your Lord has commanded you: "Do not associate anything with Allah (God) in worship20, and honor your parents." Do not kill your children for (fear of) poverty, for We give sustenance to you and to them. Do not approach indecencies either in public or in private. Do not kill a life which Allah has made sacred except with (legal) right. Thus does He command you, that you may reason.

20. Monotheism is the source of all virtue, whereas polytheism 'associating others with Allah' is the source of all evil.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 152

وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ مَالَ ٱلۡيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبۡلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۚ وَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۖ وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۖ وَبِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡفُواْۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

152. Do not approach the money of the orphan except in the best manner until he attains maturity. Give full measure and weight with justice. We do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability. When you speak, then be just in your words though it be (against) a relative. Keep your Covenant with Allah. Thus does Allah guide you - that you may take heed.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 153

وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطِي مُسۡتَقِيمٗا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

153. (Know) that this (religion of Islam) is the path leading straight to Me (Allah), the right one, so follow it, and do not follow the (diverse) roads, for they will lead you far away from His way.Thus does Allah advise you - that you may become righteous21.

21. Whoever follows this Straight Path becomes one of the righteous.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 154

ثُمَّ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَى ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحۡسَنَ وَتَفۡصِيلٗا لِّكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

154. Furthermore, it is We 'Allah' who gave Moses the Scripture (Torah) making complete (Our blessings) upon the one who did good (Moses), and as a detailed explanation of all things and as a guidance and Mercy, so that they might believe in the Meeting of (Allah) their Lord.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 155

وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٞ فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ وَٱتَّقُواْ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

155. This (Qur’an) is a Book We have sent down (which is) blessed; so follow it, and have piety that you may receive Mercy (I.e., be saved from the torment of Hell). 

 

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 156

أَن تَقُولُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ عَلَىٰ طَآئِفَتَيۡنِ مِن قَبۡلِنَا وَإِن كُنَّا عَن دِرَاسَتِهِمۡ لَغَٰفِلِينَ

156. Lest you (pagans) say that the Scripture was only sent down to two parties before us (of Jews and Christians) and We were truly unaware of what they studied.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 157

أَوۡ تَقُولُواْ لَوۡ أَنَّآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ لَكُنَّآ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡهُمۡۚ فَقَدۡ جَآءَكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٞۚ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنۡهَاۗ سَنَجۡزِي ٱلَّذِينَ يَصۡدِفُونَ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصۡدِفُونَ

157. Or lest you should say: "If only the Scripture had been sent down to us, we would certainly have been better guided than they (to whom were revealed the scripture before us), so indeed now there has come to you clear proof from your Lord (Allah God), and a guidance and mercy. Who then is more unjust than he who denies God’s verses and turns away from them? We shall recompense those who turn away from Our verses with the worst torment, because of their turning away.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 158

هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَ بَعۡضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكَۗ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِي بَعۡضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكَ لَا يَنفَعُ نَفۡسًا إِيمَٰنُهَا لَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَامَنَتۡ مِن قَبۡلُ أَوۡ كَسَبَتۡ فِيٓ إِيمَٰنِهَا خَيۡرٗاۗ قُلِ ٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ

158. Do they then wait for anything other than that the angels should come to them, or that your Lord (Allah) should come, or that some of the Signs of (Allah) your Lord should come. On the Day when some of the Signs of (Allah) your Lord will come, faith (in it) will not benefit a soul which did not believe before, or earned good (deeds) through its faith. Say: "Wait, We too are waiting."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 159

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمۡ وَكَانُواْ شِيَعٗا لَّسۡتَ مِنۡهُمۡ فِي شَيۡءٍۚ إِنَّمَآ أَمۡرُهُمۡ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ

159. Those who separated from their (original) religion (of Islam, the teachings of all their Prophets) and became sects22 you are not associated with them in anything; their case is only to Allah (to judge), then He will inform them of what they used to do (of evil).

22. of Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, etc.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 160

مَن جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ عَشۡرُ أَمۡثَالِهَاۖ وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجۡزَىٰٓ إِلَّا مِثۡلَهَا وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ

160. Whoever comes with a good deed, will be rewarded tenfold. Whoever comes with an evil deed, he will be recompensed only with the like of it, and they will not be dealt with unjustly.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 161

قُلۡ إِنَّنِي هَدَىٰنِي رَبِّيٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ دِينٗا قِيَمٗا مِّلَّةَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفٗاۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

161. Say 'Muhammad': "As for me, (Allah) my Lord has guided me to a right Path; (to) a most right Religion (Islam), the faith of Abraham, the upright one. He was not of the pagans.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 162

قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحۡيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

162. Say 'Muhammad'. "My prayer, my sacrifice, my living and death are all for Allah, the Sovereign Lord of all beings;

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 163

لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُۥۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرۡتُ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

163. No partner has He. This I am commanded with, and I am the first of those who submit (to God only)."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 164

قُلۡ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡغِي رَبّٗا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖۚ وَلَا تَكۡسِبُ كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيۡهَاۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ فِيهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ

164. Say: "Shall I seek a lord other than Allah while He is the Sovereign Lord of everything?" No soul earns (evil) except against itself, and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another. Then to (Allah) your Lord is your (final) return, so He will inform you of all that in which you differed.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 165

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَكُمۡ خَلَٰٓئِفَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعۡضَكُمۡ فَوۡقَ بَعۡضٖ دَرَجَٰتٖ لِّيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ فِي مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمۡۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمُۢ

165. It is He (Allah) Who has made you successors in the land, and raised some of you above others by (various) grades, that He may try you by what He has given you. Your Lord (Allah) is Swift in punishment, and He is certainly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
