Vertaling van de betekenissen Vers: (26) Surah: Soerat El-Maidah (De tafel)
قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡۛ أَرۡبَعِينَ سَنَةٗۛ يَتِيهُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَلَا تَأۡسَ عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
26. (Allah) said: "So it will be forbidden to them for forty years30, they will wander about in the land. Do not grieve for the rebellious people (who rebel against God)."
30. Allah, the Most High, decreed that they should be wandering in the land for a period of 40 years as punishment for their iniquities.
