قُلۡ يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمۡ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَ قَوۡمٖ قَدۡ ضَلُّواْ مِن قَبۡلُ وَأَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرٗا وَضَلُّواْ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ
77. Say: "O followers of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), do not go to extremes in your faith (and deeds) other than the Truth, and do not follow the whims of a people (priests and pastors) who have gone astray before, and led many astray and went astray from the right Path 'of Islam'.
