قُلۡ يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمۡ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَ قَوۡمٖ قَدۡ ضَلُّواْ مِن قَبۡلُ وَأَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرٗا وَضَلُّواْ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

77. Say: "O followers of the (past) Scriptures (Jews and Christians), do not exceed the limits in your deeds (and words) beyond the Truth, and do not follow the whims of a people (priests and pastors) who have gone astray before, for they led many astray and went astray themselves from the right Path.
