وَيَجۡعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكۡرَهُونَۚ وَتَصِفُ أَلۡسِنَتُهُمُ ٱلۡكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَ وَأَنَّهُم مُّفۡرَطُونَ
62. They assign to Allāh what they dislike (for themselves i.e., daughters) [22] and their tongues describe the lie that they will have the best (from Him) [23]. Undoubtedly, for them is the Fire, and that they will be (therein) abandoned.
[22]. That is, their saying that the angels are God’s daughters, while they dislike having daughters.
[23]. That they will be rewarded goodly both in this world and in the Hereafter.
