وَمَا مَنَعَ ٱلنَّاسَ أَن يُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ إِذۡ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ قُبُلٗا
55. And nothing prevents people from believing when the guidance has come to them, and from asking forgiveness from their Lord 'Allāh', except that the tradition of the ancients [30] should come to them, or that the torment should come face to face to them.
[30]. Who rebelled against God.
