إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ جَآءُو بِٱلۡإِفۡكِ عُصۡبَةٞ مِّنكُمۡۚ لَا تَحۡسَبُوهُ شَرّٗا لَّكُمۖ بَلۡ هُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۚ لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُم مَّا ٱكۡتَسَبَ مِنَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِۚ وَٱلَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ كِبۡرَهُۥ مِنۡهُمۡ لَهُۥ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ

11. Indeed, those who brought up the slander (accusaion) [3] are a band (of hypocrites) among you. Do not think it is bad for you; rather, it is good for you [4]. Every one of them will have what he has earned of sin. and the one who took on himself the main part of it [5] among them, he will have a grievous torment. info

[3]. Against Aishah, the wife of the Prophet.
[4]. For believers being distinguished from hypocrites; and ‘Ā’ishah being absolved from false accusation, and rules were revealed on such incidents, etc.
[5]. I.e., ‘Abdullah ibn ’Ubayy, leader of the hypocrites in Madinah at that time.
