فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ
57. So on that Day their excuse will not benefit those who did injustice [18], nor will they be allowed to appease (Allāh).
[18]. By associating partners in worship with Allāh, and by denying the Day of Resurrection and Judgment.
