قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِيهِمَا مِن شِرۡكٖ وَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡهُم مِّن ظَهِيرٖ
22. Say, (Muhammad): "Call upon those you claim (as deities) besides Allāh. (They cannot help you). As They do not possess (even) an atom’s weight in the heavens or in the earth, nor have they therein of any share. Nor is for Him from among them of any backer [8].
[8]. Allāh has negated all that the polytheists have attached to Him of false gods. For He has negated that anyone has any dominion or any share in the heavens or on the earth besides Him, or that there is any assistant to Allāh, and that there is nothing to remain except intercession. It is clear that intercession will be of no benefit to anyone except for who has been granted permission by Allāh.
