Ibisobanuro by'amagambo Isura Al A’araf - Ibisobanuro bya Qur'an Ntagatifu mu rurimi rw'icyongereza - Abdallah Hassan Ya'aqub - numero y'urupapuro 160 - ububiko bwa qor'an yejejwe

Umurongo: 74

وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ إِذۡ جَعَلَكُمۡ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ عَادٖ وَبَوَّأَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورٗا وَتَنۡحِتُونَ ٱلۡجِبَالَ بُيُوتٗاۖ فَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ ءَالَآءَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ

74. Remember when He made you successors from after (the people of) ‘Aad and gave you habitations in the land - you make palaces on its plains, and carve out houses in the mountains - so remember the bounties of Allāh, and do not act corruptly in the land, making mischief.

Umurongo: 75

قَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ لِمَنۡ ءَامَنَ مِنۡهُمۡ أَتَعۡلَمُونَ أَنَّ صَٰلِحٗا مُّرۡسَلٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلَ بِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنُونَ

75. The eminent ones who were arrogant among his people said to those who were considered weak - those among them who believed: "Do you know that Salih is sent by his Lord (Allāh)?" They said: "Indeed, we are believers in what he has been sent with."

Umurongo: 76

قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّا بِٱلَّذِيٓ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ

76. Those who were arrogant said: "We are certainly deniers of what you believe in."

Umurongo: 77

فَعَقَرُواْ ٱلنَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوۡاْ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَقَالُواْ يَٰصَٰلِحُ ٱئۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

77. So, they hamstrung the she-camel and insolently defied the Command of their Lord (Allāh), and said: "O Salih, Bring us with what you threaten us, if you are truly of God’s Messengers.”

Umurongo: 78

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ

78. So seized them the earthquake, and they became within their home fallen prone.

Umurongo: 79

فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ لَقَدۡ أَبۡلَغۡتُكُمۡ رِسَالَةَ رَبِّي وَنَصَحۡتُ لَكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُحِبُّونَ ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ

79. So he turned away from them and said: "My people, I did certainly convey to you the Message of my Lord, and I gave you good advice, but you do not like 'sincere' advisers.

Umurongo: 80

وَلُوطًا إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنۡ أَحَدٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

80. And (We sent) Lot when he said to his people: "Do you commit such indecency as none in all the world has ever done before you?

Umurongo: 81

إِنَّكُمۡ لَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهۡوَةٗ مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٞ مُّسۡرِفُونَ

81. Surely, you approach men lustfully instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people."
