Kur'an-ı Kerim meal tercümesi - الترجمة الإنجليزية - يعقوب * - Mealler fihristi

Anlam tercümesi Sure: Sûratu'l-Hicr   Ayet:

Al-Hijr

1. Alif Laam Ra¹. These are the Verses of the Book and a clear Recitation ².
1. The Qur’an is made up of such letters from the Arabic alphabet. The Arabs at the time of revelation were the unmatched masters of the Arabic language and yet when challenged were totally unable to bring anything like the Qur’an. Although these disjointed Arabic letters are referring to the inimitable nature of the Qur’an and its divine source, God knows best its meaning.
2. Both the Book and the Recitation mentioned here refer to one and the same thing, the Qur’an itself; the Book that was to be and then the present recited Verses. Its double mention, as given here, is meant to draw special attention to the evidences it provides to the Truthfulness of the Message.
Arapça tefsirler:
2. How eagerly the deniers will desire that they had been Muslims³.
3. On the Day of Judgement or at the time of their death.
Arapça tefsirler:
3. Leave them alone to eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by (vain) hope⁴; for they will soon know (the Truth)⁵.
4. Vain hope of a long life, accomplishment of one’s aspirations, a peaceful life, a fortunate turn of events, etc., that makes one distracted from the real purpose of life and heedless to the Truth of Islam. One of the greatest reasons for which Allāh has created mankind – which is one of the greatest tests – is the command to affirm His Oneness and to worship Him alone with no partner and to believe in His last and final messenger, the Prophet Muhammad.
5. That there is no deity except Allāh and that Muḥammad is the messenger of God.
Arapça tefsirler:
4. Never did We destroy a town (for its sins) but for it was a known Decree.
Arapça tefsirler:
5. No people can hasten its term nor can they postpone (it).
Arapça tefsirler:
6. They (the deniers) said: "O you (Muhammad) to whom the Reminder (the Qur’an) has been revealed. You are certainly out of your mind."
Arapça tefsirler:
7. 'Saying': "Why do you not bring to us the angels, if you are truthful?"
Arapça tefsirler:
8. We do not send down the angels except with Truth6, and in that case, they (the deniers) would have no respite.
6. Revelation or Divine Retribution.
Arapça tefsirler:
9. Indeed, it is We who revealed the Reminder (Qur’an), and for it We are certainly Preservers.
Arapça tefsirler:
10. We certainly sent (messengers) before you among the early communities.
Arapça tefsirler:
11. There never came a messenger to them, but they ridiculed him.
Arapça tefsirler:
12. Thus do We make (denial) to enter into the hearts of the wicked;
Arapça tefsirler:
13. They would not believe in (this Qur’an), and indeed the example of the 'destroyed' former (deniers) has already passed away.
Arapça tefsirler:
14. Even if We open to them a gateway of heaven, so that they continue to ascend into it.
Arapça tefsirler:
15. They would certainly say: "Our eyes have only been dazzled, rather, we are a people bewitched."
Arapça tefsirler:
16. We have set up constellations in the heaven, and We adorned it for the beholders.
Arapça tefsirler:
17. And We preserved it (the heaven) from every outcast devil,
Arapça tefsirler:
18. Except him (devil) who tries to eavesdrop (to the near heaven), then is chased away by a visible burning flame.
Arapça tefsirler:
19. We have spread out the earth, and cast in it firm mountains, and caused to grow therein everything in due proportion.
Arapça tefsirler:
20. We have made therein for you means of livelihood and for those (creatures) for whom you are not their providers.
Arapça tefsirler:
21. There is not a thing but with Us are its treasures, and We do not send it down except in a known measure.
Arapça tefsirler:
22. We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the sky, so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up.
Arapça tefsirler:
23. It is certainly We who give life and cause death, and We are the (sole) Heirs.
Arapça tefsirler:
24. We certainly know those of you who have gone before, and those who will come later.
Arapça tefsirler:
25. Your Lord 'Allāh' will certainly resurrect them all (for Judgment). For He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
Arapça tefsirler:
26. We have certainly created man out of pure mud-moulded clay.
Arapça tefsirler:
27. And the jinn (the unseen spirit-Satan) We created before of smokeless fire.
Arapça tefsirler:
28. (Mention) when your Lord 'Allāh' said to the angels: "I will create a mortal man out of pure mud-moulded clay.
Arapça tefsirler:
29. So when I have made him complete and breathed into him the breath of life (created by Me), fall down in prostration to him."
Arapça tefsirler:
30. So the angels prostrated - all of them together,
Arapça tefsirler:
31. Except Iblees (Satan); he refused to be with the prostrators.
Arapça tefsirler:
32. 'Allāh' said: "O Iblees (Satan), what is the matter with you that you are not with the prostrators?"
Arapça tefsirler:
33. (Satan) said: "I am not such to prostrate to a mortal man whom you have created out of mud-moulded clay."
Arapça tefsirler:
34. 'Allāh' said: "Then get out of it (the Garden), for you are indeed outcast;
Arapça tefsirler:
35. And indeed you will be cursed until the Day of Recompense."
Arapça tefsirler:
36. (Satan) said: "Lord, grant me respite until the Day when they are resurrected."
Arapça tefsirler:
37. 'Allāh' said: "You are granted respite."
Arapça tefsirler:
38. Until the Day of the appointed time (the Day of Judgment).
Arapça tefsirler:
39. (Satan) said: "Lord, because You have misled me, I will certainly adorn for them on the earth7, and I will cause them all to deviate,
7. The path of error, worldly distractions, desires and evil.
Arapça tefsirler:
40. Except from among them, Your devoted servants."
Arapça tefsirler:
41. 'Allāh' said: "This (the religion of Islam) is a Path (of return) that is straight to Me."
Arapça tefsirler:
42. Indeed, as regards of My servants, you have no authority over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.
Arapça tefsirler:
43. And Gehinnom (Hell) is certainly their promised place for them all,
Arapça tefsirler:
44. It has seven gates; for every gate there will be a separate party of them (from Satan’s followers).
Arapça tefsirler:
45. The righteous will be in Gardens and Springs;
Arapça tefsirler:
46. Enter it in peace, secure8.
8. The dwellers of Paradise will be safe from all ills, away from troubles, and all matters that might put a dent in their happiness and sense of security.
Arapça tefsirler:
47. We shall remove whatever of rancor is in their chests, (so they will be) brothers on raised couches, facing each other 'joyfully'.
Arapça tefsirler:
48. No fatigue will touch them, nor will they ever be expelled therefrom.
Arapça tefsirler:
49. Tell My servants (of mankind and jinn) that I am the All-Forgiving, the All-Merciful,
Arapça tefsirler:
50. And that My torment - is the most painful torment.
Arapça tefsirler:
51. Tell them about the (angelic) guests of Abraham.
Arapça tefsirler:
52. When they entered upon him, they said: "Peace". Abraham said: "We are wary of you9."
9. Since they came at a time when guests were not usually expected, he doubted their motives and wanted them to assure him of peace, which they promptly did.
Arapça tefsirler:
53. They said: "Fear not. We have brought you the good news of (the birth) of a learned boy (Isaac)."
Arapça tefsirler:
54. (Abraham) said: "Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me? Of what then is your good news?"
Arapça tefsirler:
55. (The angels) said: "We have given you the good news with truth, so do not despair."
Arapça tefsirler:
56. (Abraham) said: "Who would despair of the Mercy of his Lord 'Allāh' except those who are astray?"
Arapça tefsirler:
57. He 'then' said: "What is your task (here), O (angelic) messengers?"
Arapça tefsirler:
58. They said: "We are sent to a wicked people (in Sodom and Gomorrah),
Arapça tefsirler:
59. But Lot’s family: We shall deliver them all,
Arapça tefsirler:
60. Except his spouse; We ordained that she will be of those who remain behind10."
10. To perish, for having collaborated with the deniers.
Arapça tefsirler:
61. When the (angelic) messengers came to Lot’s family,
Arapça tefsirler:
62. (Lot) said: "You seem to be strangers."
Arapça tefsirler:
63. (The angels) said: "But, we have come to you with that (torment) which they have been doubting."
Arapça tefsirler:
64. And We have come to you with the Truth, and we are certainly truthful.
Arapça tefsirler:
65. So leave 'the town' with your family sometime during the night and walk behind them, and let not any one of you look back.Proceed as you are commanded.
Arapça tefsirler:
66. We conveyed to him this Decree, that the roots (and last remnants) of these (sinners) will be cut off in the morning.
Arapça tefsirler:
67. The people of the city came rejoicing.
Arapça tefsirler:
68. (Lot) said: "These are my guests, so do not embarrass me,
Arapça tefsirler:
69. Fear Allāh and do not disgrace me."
Arapça tefsirler:
70. They said: "Did we not forbid you from (giving host to) any person?"
Arapça tefsirler:
71. (Lot) said: "Here are my daughters11, if you must do (so).
11. I.e., women of my community or my own daughters in lawful marriage.
Arapça tefsirler:
72. By your life (Muhammad)! In their drunkenness they were blindly wandering.
Arapça tefsirler:
73. So the 'Mighty' Blast struck them at sunrise.
Arapça tefsirler:
74. We turned (Sodom) upside down, and rained upon them stones of baked clay.
Arapça tefsirler:
75. In this there are certainly signs for the wise ones.
Arapça tefsirler:
76. Their ruins (i.e., the city of Sodom) still lie along a known route12.
12. I.e., on the highway to the Levant, where the dead sea is now.
Arapça tefsirler:
77. In this there is certainly a sign for the believers.
Arapça tefsirler:
78. The residents of the Forest (of Midian) were also unjust.
Arapça tefsirler:
79. So We afflicted Our retribution on them. The ruins of both towns (of Sodom and Midian) still lie on a well-known road, plain for all to see (and take a lesson from).
Arapça tefsirler:
80. Indeed, the people of Al-Hijr (i.e., Thamud) also denied the messengers;
Arapça tefsirler:
81. We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them;
Arapça tefsirler:
82. They used to carve from the mountains, houses, feelings secure.
Arapça tefsirler:
83. But a (huge) Blast seized them at early morning;
Arapça tefsirler:
84. All that they acquired (of wealth and power) was of no avail to them.
Arapça tefsirler:
85. We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except for a genuine purpose. And the Hour 'of Doom' is certainly coming. So be forgiving13 with gracious forgiveness.
13. Forgiving your enemies means showing kindness to those who oppose, mistreat, or harm you. It's a call to forgive without conditions, irrespective of how they treat you personally. This does not equate to pacifism, as Muslims are still expected to defend the innocent and speak the truth without hate. And that is why come after this in other chapters of the Qur’an the ordainment of Jihâd - fighting for God’s cause against the evil forces.
Arapça tefsirler:
86. Your Lord 'Allāh' is certainly the Creator of all things, the All-Knowing.
Arapça tefsirler:
87. We have certainly given you the seven most repeated (Verses i.e., the opening Chapter) and the Great Qur’an.
Arapça tefsirler:
88. Do not yearn and extend your eyes towards what We have given certain classes of them (the deniers) to enjoy, nor grieve over them, but lower your wing (in love and kindness) to the believers.
Arapça tefsirler:
89. Say 'Muhammad': "I am a plain warner."
Arapça tefsirler:
90. As We sent down to the dividers14.
14. I.e., the Jews and the Christians who separated from the teachings of their Prophets. In some parts of their scriptures they believed and in some they disbelieved, and they changed others, and divided themselves into many differing sects.
Arapça tefsirler:
91. Who made the Qur’an into parts15.
15. Accepting a part and rejecting a part according to their own inclinations.
Arapça tefsirler:
92. So, by your Lord 'Allāh', We shall certainly question them all,
Arapça tefsirler:
93. For all that they used to do.
Arapça tefsirler:
94. So declare openly what you are commanded (of Islamic Monotheism), and turn away from the polytheists.
Arapça tefsirler:

95. Surely We shall suffice you against the scoffers.
Arapça tefsirler:

97. We certainly know that your chest straitens by what they say (of mockery and denial);
Arapça tefsirler:
98. So glorify your Lord, praise Him, and be among those who prostrate themselves (before Him).
Arapça tefsirler:
99. And worship your Lord 'Allāh alone', until there comes to you the certainty 'of death'16.
16. Following the Qur’an and the Sunnah 'teachings of Prophet Muhammad', to the very end of our lives is the right way for everyone to close the final chapter of his life's book and finish well. Good end and gracefully living with life's changes testifies to the reality of Islam, our true faith. It leaves for those who remain a legacy of inspiring memories of worshipping Allāh alone without associating any partners with Him in worship and taking as living example His last and final messenger, the Prophet Muhammad.
