آیت: 164

وَإِذۡ قَالَتۡ أُمَّةٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ لِمَ تَعِظُونَ قَوۡمًا ٱللَّهُ مُهۡلِكُهُمۡ أَوۡ مُعَذِّبُهُمۡ عَذَابٗا شَدِيدٗاۖ قَالُواْ مَعۡذِرَةً إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ

164. When a group of them said: "Why do you preach to a people31 whom Allah is about to destroy or chastise with a severe Chastisement? "They said: "To be free from blame before (Allah) your Lord, and that they may fear Allah and shun evil.

31. While we can’t force others to turn from sinful behaviors, we can compassionately confront them. We can “speak the truth in love” so that we both become followers of Prophet Muhammad's example ”.
