段: 34

قُلۡ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ

34. Ask 'them': "Can any of your idols create something, (cause it to die), and then bring it back to life again?" Say: "Only Allāh can originate the creation and bring it to life again." How are you then turned away?

段: 35

قُلۡ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلۡحَقِّۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَهۡدِي لِلۡحَقِّۗ أَفَمَن يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلۡحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لَّا يَهِدِّيٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُهۡدَىٰۖ فَمَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

35. Ask 'them': "Can any of your idols guide you to the Truth? Say: "Only Allāh guides to the truth." Is He then Who guides to the Truth more worthy to be followed, or he who is not himself guided, unless he is guided? What is wrong with you? How do you judge 'so unjustly'?

段: 36

وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ إِلَّا ظَنًّاۚ إِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَفۡعَلُونَ

36. Most of them follow nothing but mere assumptions. However, assumptions avails nothing against the Truth at all. Indeed, Allāh is All-Knowing of all that they do.

段: 37

وَمَا كَانَ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ أَن يُفۡتَرَىٰ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِن تَصۡدِيقَ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَتَفۡصِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

37. This Quran could not possibly be produced by other than Allāh, rather it is a confirmation of what was before it 'of Divine Scriptures' and provides a fully detailed explanation of all the verdicts of the Book; there is no doubt about it, 'it is' from 'Allāh' the Lord of all beings.

段: 38

أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِسُورَةٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦ وَٱدۡعُواْ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

38. Or do they say: "He 'Muhammad' has invented it 'this Qur’an'?" Say: "Then bring one Chapter like it, and call upon whomever you can other than Allāh 'for help', if what you say is true."

段: 39

بَلۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِمَا لَمۡ يُحِيطُواْ بِعِلۡمِهِۦ وَلَمَّا يَأۡتِهِمۡ تَأۡوِيلُهُۥۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

39. Rather, they deny that of which they have no comprehensive knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny 'the Truth'. See then how was the end of the unjust.

段: 40

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يُؤۡمِنُ بِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن لَّا يُؤۡمِنُ بِهِۦۚ وَرَبُّكَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

40. Of them is he who believes in it 'the Qur’an', and of them is he who does not believe in it, and your Lord knows best about the corrupters.

段: 41

وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمۡ عَمَلُكُمۡۖ أَنتُم بَرِيٓـُٔونَ مِمَّآ أَعۡمَلُ وَأَنَا۠ بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ

41. If they deny you 'Muhammad', say: "My deeds is for me and your deeds for you. You are clear of what I do, and I am clear of what you do."

段: 42

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُونَ إِلَيۡكَۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ

42. Among them are those who 'pretend to' listen to you, but can you make the deaf hear, even though they do not understand?
