فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُواْ بِهِۦ وَأَجۡمَعُوٓاْ أَن يَجۡعَلُوهُ فِي غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلۡجُبِّۚ وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُم بِأَمۡرِهِمۡ هَٰذَا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
15. So when they went away with him, and they all agreed that they should place him at the bottom of the well. We inspired to Joseph: "You will certainly inform them of this affair of theirs while they do not perceive it."
阿拉伯语经注:
وَجَآءُوٓ أَبَاهُمۡ عِشَآءٗ يَبۡكُونَ
16. And they came to their father at nightfall, weeping.
阿拉伯语经注:
قَالُواْ يَٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّا ذَهَبۡنَا نَسۡتَبِقُ وَتَرَكۡنَا يُوسُفَ عِندَ مَتَٰعِنَا فَأَكَلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُؤۡمِنٖ لَّنَا وَلَوۡ كُنَّا صَٰدِقِينَ
17. They said: "Father, we went off racing each other and left Joseph with our belongings, and a wolf ate him. But you will not believe us, even if we are truthful."
阿拉伯语经注:
وَجَآءُو عَلَىٰ قَمِيصِهِۦ بِدَمٖ كَذِبٖۚ قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٞۖ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ
18. They brought his shirt stained with false blood4. (Jacob) said: "Rather, your souls has enticed for you a matter; but patience is most fitting. Allāh is the One sought for help against what you describe."
4. They had stained Joseph's shirt with the blood of a lamb but had forgotten to tear it, thereby arousing their father's suspicion.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَجَآءَتۡ سَيَّارَةٞ فَأَرۡسَلُواْ وَارِدَهُمۡ فَأَدۡلَىٰ دَلۡوَهُۥۖ قَالَ يَٰبُشۡرَىٰ هَٰذَا غُلَٰمٞۚ وَأَسَرُّوهُ بِضَٰعَةٗۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ
19. A caravan came by and sent their water-drawer and he let down his bucket. He said: Oh, what good news. Here is a young boy. And they hid him as merchandise. But Allāh is All-Knowing of what they do.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَشَرَوۡهُ بِثَمَنِۭ بَخۡسٖ دَرَٰهِمَ مَعۡدُودَةٖ وَكَانُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلزَّٰهِدِينَ
20. They sold him for a small price, a few pieces of silver, and they showed no desire for him5.
5. Unaware of his true worth and value.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِي ٱشۡتَرَىٰهُ مِن مِّصۡرَ لِٱمۡرَأَتِهِۦٓ أَكۡرِمِي مَثۡوَىٰهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوۡ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُۥ مِن تَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحَادِيثِۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِهِۦ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
21. The man from Egypt6 who bought him said to his spouse: "Make comfortable his stay, maybe he will be useful to us, or we may adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land (of Egypt), so that We might teach him the interpretation of discourses (events and dreams). Allāh always prevails in His purpose, but most people do not know.
6. Potiphar, one of Pharaoh’s officials.
阿拉伯语经注:
وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥٓ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمٗا وَعِلۡمٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
22. When he reached his maturity, We gave him right judgment and knowledge. Thus We reward the good-doers.
