يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَوۡفُواْ بِٱلۡعُقُودِۚ أُحِلَّتۡ لَكُم بَهِيمَةُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ إِلَّا مَا يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ غَيۡرَ مُحِلِّي ٱلصَّيۡدِ وَأَنتُمۡ حُرُمٌۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحۡكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ

1. O believers, fulfill (your) contracts (and obligations) [1]. The grazing livestock are lawful to you (as food) except that which is recited to you (in this Qur’an). But you are not allowed to hunt while you are in the state of ritual consecration during pilgrimage. Indeed, Allāh decrees what He wills. info

[1]. The covenants that one has with Allāh or the contracts with people. This also includes promises, pledges, vows, oaths, etc.
