የይዘት ትርጉም ምዕራፍ አን ናስ - የእንግሊዝኛ ትርጉም - ዐብደላህ ሐሰን ያዕቆብ - የቅዱስ ቁርዓን ማህደር

An-Nās

አንቀጽ: 1

قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ

1. Say: I seek protection by (Allāh) the Lord of mankind1,

1. O Allāh; you are my strength, my defense, my rock, my fortress, and my savior. Allāh is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, and my place of safety. I call on Allāh, my God, and the God of Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Abraham and Noah to protect me. He is our God, who is worthy of praise, I will praise Him, and I will exalt Him. He saves me from my enemies And from the evil of all that is evil. He alone is the real Lord of mankind.

አንቀጽ: 2

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ

2. The King of mankind,

አንቀጽ: 3

إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ

3. The God of mankind2,

2. Allāh reward and recompense you according to your righteousness. For if you keep the ways of peace, and you have not wickedly departed from God, you will succeed and prosper. Be always upright before Him, and keep yourself from your iniquity. Therefore Allāh will recompense you according to your righteousness and will protect you. Who is God, save Allāh? and who is a rock, save our God? Allāh is our strength and power: and he makes our way perfect. He makes our feet firm. He is our only Savior and Protector.

አንቀጽ: 4

مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ

4. From the evil of the whisperer, the withdrawing tempter (the devil).

አንቀጽ: 5

ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ

5. Who whispers (evil thoughts and suggestions) into the chests of mankind,

አንቀጽ: 6

مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ

6. (These devils are) from among the jinn and mankind.
