An-Nās

قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ
1. Say: I seek protection by (Allāh) the Lord of mankind [1],
[1]. O Allāh; you are my strength, my defense, my rock, my fortress, and my savior. Allāh is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, and my place of safety.

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ
2. The King of mankind,

إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ
3. The God of mankind [2],
[2]. Allāh reward and recompense you according to your righteousness. For if you keep the ways of peace, and you have not wickedly departed from God, you will succeed and prosper. Be always upright before Him, so He keeps you from your iniquity.

مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ
4. From the evil of the whisperer, the withdrawing tempter (the devil).

ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
5. who whispers into the chests of mankind [3],
[3]. Evil thoughts and suggestions.
التفاسير:

:
114
مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
6. (These devils are) from among the jinn and mankind.
