سورة التحريم - At-Tahrīm
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكَۖ تَبۡتَغِي مَرۡضَاتَ أَزۡوَٰجِكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
1. Oh Prophet, why do you forbid (yourself from) what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking to please your wives? For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
التفاسير العربية:
وَإِذۡ أَسَرَّ ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضِ أَزۡوَٰجِهِۦ حَدِيثٗا فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَتۡ بِهِۦ وَأَظۡهَرَهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِ عَرَّفَ بَعۡضَهُۥ وَأَعۡرَضَ عَنۢ بَعۡضٖۖ فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَهَا بِهِۦ قَالَتۡ مَنۡ أَنۢبَأَكَ هَٰذَاۖ قَالَ نَبَّأَنِيَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ
3. The Prophet confided to one of his wives¹ a statement. When she told of it², and Allah made it known to him; he disclosed part of it and ignored a part. When he informed her about it, she said: "Who told you this?" He said: "I was informed by (Allah) the All-Knowing, the All-Aware."

التفاسير العربية:
إِن تَتُوبَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ صَغَتۡ قُلُوبُكُمَاۖ وَإِن تَظَٰهَرَا عَلَيۡهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰهُ وَجِبۡرِيلُ وَصَٰلِحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۖ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ ظَهِيرٌ
4. If you both³ turn (in repentance) to Allah (you have cause to do so), since your hearts have faltered⁴; and if you back up each other against the Prophet (in what he is averse to), then Allah is His guardian. Gabriel, the righteous believers, and the angels (furthermore) are (his) supporters.

التفاسير العربية:
عَسَىٰ رَبُّهُۥٓ إِن طَلَّقَكُنَّ أَن يُبۡدِلَهُۥٓ أَزۡوَٰجًا خَيۡرٗا مِّنكُنَّ مُسۡلِمَٰتٖ مُّؤۡمِنَٰتٖ قَٰنِتَٰتٖ تَٰٓئِبَٰتٍ عَٰبِدَٰتٖ سَٰٓئِحَٰتٖ ثَيِّبَٰتٖ وَأَبۡكَارٗا
5. Perhaps his Lord (Allah), if he (the Prophet) were to divorce you, will give him in your place wives better than you - who are Muslims, believers, obedient, repentant, devout in prayer and fasting, (ones) previously married and virgins.
التفاسير العربية:
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَأَهۡلِيكُمۡ نَارٗا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُ عَلَيۡهَا مَلَٰٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظٞ شِدَادٞ لَّا يَعۡصُونَ ٱللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ
6. Oh believers, save yourselves and your families from a Fire which is fueled by people and stones³ and guarded by angels stern and strong, who do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوۡبَةٗ نَّصُوحًا عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمۡ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡ وَيُدۡخِلَكُمۡ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ يَوۡمَ لَا يُخۡزِي ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّبِيَّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥۖ نُورُهُمۡ يَسۡعَىٰ بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَبِأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَتۡمِمۡ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَآۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ
8. Oh believers, turn to Allah (in repentance) with the intention of never repeating the same sin. Perhaps (Allah) your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you to gardens under which rivers flow. On the Day which Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who have believed in him. Their light will shine in front of them and to their right⁴. they will say: "(O Allah our) Lord, make perfect for us our light⁵, and forgive our sins, for You are Able to do all things."
4. Will be their books of deeds, with every bit of good they did in this life recorded therein.

التفاسير العربية:
ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱمۡرَأَتَ نُوحٖ وَٱمۡرَأَتَ لُوطٖۖ كَانَتَا تَحۡتَ عَبۡدَيۡنِ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا صَٰلِحَيۡنِ فَخَانَتَاهُمَا فَلَمۡ يُغۡنِيَا عَنۡهُمَا مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـٔٗا وَقِيلَ ٱدۡخُلَا ٱلنَّارَ مَعَ ٱلدَّٰخِلِينَ
10. Allah sets forth an example to the deniers: The spouse of Noah and the spouse of Lot. They were under (i.e., married to) two of Our righteous servants, but they betrayed them⁶, so they availed them nothing against Allah, and it was said: "Enter the Fire with those who enter."
6. In the matter of religion, for they both were disbelievers.
التفاسير العربية:
وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱمۡرَأَتَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِذۡ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ ٱبۡنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيۡتٗا فِي ٱلۡجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِي مِن فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَعَمَلِهِۦ وَنَجِّنِي مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
11. Allah also sets forth an example for the believers: The wife of Pharaoh when she said: "(O Allah my) Lord, build for me a house near to You in Paradise, and deliver me from Pharaoh and his (bloody) work, and deliver me from the unjust people."
التفاسير العربية:
وَمَرۡيَمَ ٱبۡنَتَ عِمۡرَٰنَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَحۡصَنَتۡ فَرۡجَهَا فَنَفَخۡنَا فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتۡ بِكَلِمَٰتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَكَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ
12. And Maryam, the daughter of Imran (Joachim), who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her (garment) through Our angel (Gabriel), and she believed in the Words of her Lord (Allah) and His Books, and she was of the devoutly obedient.
