12 : 35

وَمَا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡبَحۡرَانِ هَٰذَا عَذۡبٞ فُرَاتٞ سَآئِغٞ شَرَابُهُۥ وَهَٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجٞۖ وَمِن كُلّٖ تَأۡكُلُونَ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

12. And the two bodies of water are not alike, this is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and this salty and bitter. Yet from each of them you eat fresh tender meat and draw forth ornaments which you wear. You see the ships cleave through it, that you may seek of His bounty, and that you may be grateful. info

13 : 35

يُولِجُ ٱلَّيۡلَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِي ٱلَّيۡلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلّٞ يَجۡرِي لِأَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِن قِطۡمِيرٍ

13. He merges the night into the day, and merges the day into the night, and subjected the sun and the moon - each running its course for an appointed time. Such is Allāh, your Lord, to Him belongs the Kingdom. And those whom you invoke besides Him do not possess even (as much as) the membrane of a date-seed. info

14 : 35

إِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُواْ دُعَآءَكُمۡ وَلَوۡ سَمِعُواْ مَا ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لَكُمۡۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِشِرۡكِكُمۡۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثۡلُ خَبِيرٖ

14. If you invoke them they do not hear your supplication, and if they heard they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your associating (them with Allāh in worship). And none can tell you (the truth) like One who is All-Aware (i.e., Allāh). info

15 : 35

۞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ ٱلۡحَمِيدُ

15. Oh people, it is you who stand in need of Allāh, while Allāh is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy. info

16 : 35

إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَيَأۡتِ بِخَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٖ

16. If He wills, He can do away with you, and bring about a new creation., info

17 : 35

وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٖ

17. And that Nothing is hard for Allāh [6]. info

[6]. Allah our Lord and King is the God for all mankind. That means we cannot place any god or idol in front of Him and our worship of him. This implies that Allah, our God, is all powerful, that he is able to do everything that he pleases, nothing is hard for him and nothing is hidden from Him.

18 : 35

وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ وَإِن تَدۡعُ مُثۡقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمۡلِهَا لَا يُحۡمَلۡ مِنۡهُ شَيۡءٞ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰٓۗ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

18. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burdens of another [7]. And if a heavy-burdened (self) should call to its burden (to be carried), nothing of it will be carried, even though he be a close relative. Only you can warn those who fear their Lord 'Allāh' though unseen and keep up the prayer. Whoever purifies himself, then he only purifies it for (the benefit of) his own self. And to Allāh is the final return. info

[7]. From the Justice of Allāh is that He will not count others who are innocent, as guilty for the sins of their fathers through ‘ancestral’ or ‘original’ sin.
