Al-'Āṣr

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ
Ako (Dios) nanumpa sa panahon (sa mga katuigan)!

Ayah: 2

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ
Sa pagkatinuod, ang tawo anaa sa bug-os nga kapildihan,

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ
Gawas niadtong mituo ug nagbuhat sa matarung nga mga buhat, ug nagtambag sa usag-usa uban Kamatuoran ( Hustisya ug kalinaw), ug nagtambag ang usag-usa sa pagpailub (ug paglahutay).
