Al-Fīl

Ayah: 1

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ
Wala ba kamo mahibalo ˹Oh Propeta Muhammad˺ giunsa sa imong Ginoo (Allah) nakiglabot ang mga tag-iya sa elepante?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ
Wala ba Niya himoa nga ang ilang plano (sa pagguba sa Ka’aba sa Makkah) matapos sa pagkapakgang (nga nahimong hinungdan nga sila nangalaglag),

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ
Ug Siya nag-padala batok kanila sa panon sa mga langgam;

تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ
Nga naglabay batok kanila ug mga bato sa gahi nga lapok,
