Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Ikhlās   Ayah:

Al-Ikhlās

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
1. Say: He, Allah, is One Only¹.
1. He is alone God, has no partner, He is indivisible and distinct from all else. He is The only true deity, unique in His essence, attributes, and actions.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
2. Allah, the Oft- Beseeched².
2. The Eternal Refuge, the Absolute, the Perfect, the Self-sufficient, the Self-Existent, the Master Whom all creatures need, and Who needs nothing. He neither eats nor drinks. The One eternally and constantly sought. All existence depends upon Him, and all matters ultimately return to Him.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ يُولَدۡ
3. He begot none, nor was He begotten³.
3. I.e., He has not fathered anyone, nor was He fathered. He has no son nor daughter and it is inappropriate to call Him (father). He has no father, mother, wife, or partner, nor is He in need of any thing of that. The right Name to call God is Allaah, or Rabb instead of Abb which means father. Rabb means Lord, Creator, Sustainer, Maintainer, and Ruler. Say 'Rabbi', which means my Lord, Creator, Sustainer, Cherisher, Ruler, etc. or 'Rabbana', which means Our Lord.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ
4. There is none like Him (neither is there any god besides Him)⁴.
4. I.e., none is equal to Allah or comparable to Him.
