Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Masad   Ayah:

Al-Masad

تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
1. Perished be the two hands of Abu Lahab¹, and he will perish.
1. The Prophet's uncle, one of his staunchest opponents, along with every other enemy to Islam.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
2. His wealth will not benefit him nor all that he has earned.

سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
3. He will soon burn in a Fire that blazes,

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
4. And his spouse too, the carrier of firewood²,
2. Evil tales, slanders, and thorns to throw into the path of the Prophet.

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
5. Around her neck will be a collar of strongly twisted rope.
