Translation of the meanings Ayah: (42) Surah: Al-Kahf
وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِۦ فَأَصۡبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيۡهِ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنفَقَ فِيهَا وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُشۡرِكۡ بِرَبِّيٓ أَحَدٗا
42. And his fruits were encircled (with ruin)20; so he began to wring his hands for what he had spent on it, while it had collapsed on its trellises, and he said: "Woe to me. Would that I had not associated anyone with my Lord (Allah)."
20. One should not be swayed away from the reason for existence by the adornment of life; all of it will be gone one day.
