Translation of the meanings Ayah: (256) Surah: Al-Baqarah
لَآ إِكۡرَاهَ فِي ٱلدِّينِۖ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ ٱلرُّشۡدُ مِنَ ٱلۡغَيِّۚ فَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِٱلطَّٰغُوتِ وَيُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱسۡتَمۡسَكَ بِٱلۡعُرۡوَةِ ٱلۡوُثۡقَىٰ لَا ٱنفِصَامَ لَهَاۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
256. There is no compulsion in the (acceptance of) religion98. Certainly right has become clearly distinct from error. So whoever disbelieves in the Taghut (i.e., false gods, idols, devils, etc)  and believes in Allāh, he indeed has grasped the firmest handhold, which shall never break. Allāh is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
98. This is a great Islamic principle whereby no one is to be coerced to believe, but it is the duty of the believers to make sure that people know about Islam and what is right and what is wrong.
