إِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَٰعِيسَىٰٓ إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوۡقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَأَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَكُمۡ فِيمَا كُنتُمۡ فِيهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ
55. [Remember] when Allāh said: "O Jesus, I will take you and raise you up unto Me, and purify you from those (Jews) who disbelieve, and make those who follow you (in Islam) above [18] those who deny (the Truth) until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me will be your (final) return, and I will Judge between you concerning that wherein you used to differ.
[18]. In both spiritual supremacy and temporal leadership.
