Translation of the meanings Ayah: (8) Surah: Al-Mā’idah

Ayah: 8

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّٰمِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَآءَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَلَا يَجۡرِمَنَّكُمۡ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوۡمٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَلَّا تَعۡدِلُواْۚ ٱعۡدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
8. O believers, be upright for Allāh16, bearers of witness with justice. Let not hatred of a people incite you to deal unjustly; deal justly, that is nearer to piety. Fear Allāh. Indeed, Allāh is All-Aware of what you do.
16. That is to be ardent upholders of Allah’s rights, not seeking fame or worldly gain.
