Translation of the meanings Ayah: (50) Surah: At-Tawbah
إِن تُصِبۡكَ حَسَنَةٞ تَسُؤۡهُمۡۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡكَ مُصِيبَةٞ يَقُولُواْ قَدۡ أَخَذۡنَآ أَمۡرَنَا مِن قَبۡلُ وَيَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُمۡ فَرِحُونَ
50. If good befalls you, it grieves them, but if hardship afflicts you, they say: "We had taken care of our affair before.20" And they turn back while they are rejoicing.
20. The hypocrites claim to have protected themselves by remaining behind from the Jihâd (i.e., going to war to establish peace, justice and order).
