Al-Fīl

Ayah: 1

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ
Hast du nicht gesehen, wie dein Herr mit den Leuten des Elefanten verfahren ist?

أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ
Hat Er nicht ihre List mißlingen lassen

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ
und Vögel in Scharen über sie gesandt

تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ
die sie mit brennenden Steinen bewarfen

und sie dadurch wie abgefressene Saat gemacht?
