Al-Ma‘ârij

Ayah: 1

سَأَلَ سَآئِلُۢ بِعَذَابٖ وَاقِعٖ
Ein Fragender fragt nach einer Strafe, die hereinbrechen wird
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٞ
die für die Ungläubigen unabwendbar ist

Ayah: 3

مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ذِي ٱلۡمَعَارِجِ
sie ist von Allah, Der über die Himmelsleiter verfügt.

Ayah: 4

تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ
Die Engel und Gabriel steigen zu Ihm auf in einem Tage, dessen Ausmaß fünfzigtausend Jahre beträgt.

Ayah: 5

فَٱصۡبِرۡ صَبۡرٗا جَمِيلًا
Harre darum schön geduldig aus.

Ayah: 6

إِنَّهُمۡ يَرَوۡنَهُۥ بَعِيدٗا
Sie meinen, er sei ferne

Ayah: 7

وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِيبٗا
aber Wir sehen, er ist nahe.

Ayah: 8

يَوۡمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ
Am Tage, da der Himmel wie geschmolzenes Metall sein wird

Ayah: 9

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ
und die Berge wie farbige Wollflocken

Ayah: 10

وَلَا يَسۡـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمٗا
und ein Freund nicht mehr nach einem Freunde fragen wird

Ayah: 11

يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ
werden sie in Sichtweite zueinander gebracht werden, und der Schuldige würde sich wohl (gern) loskaufen von der Strafe jenes Tages mit seinen Kindern

وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ
und seiner Frau und seinem Bruder

Ayah: 13

وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِي تُـٔۡوِيهِ
und seiner Verwandtschaft, die ihn beherbergt hat

Ayah: 14

وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ
und allen, die insgesamt auf Erden sind, wenn es ihn nur retten könnte.

Ayah: 15

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ
Nein! Es ist wahrlich eine Feuerflamme

Ayah: 16

نَزَّاعَةٗ لِّلشَّوَىٰ
die die Kopfhaut gänzlich wegbrennt.

Ayah: 17

تَدۡعُواْ مَنۡ أَدۡبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
Den wird sie rufen, der (Mir) den Rücken kehrt und sich (von Mir) abwendet

Ayah: 18

وَجَمَعَ فَأَوۡعَىٰٓ
und (Reichtum) aufhäuft und hortet.

Ayah: 19

۞ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
Wahrlich, der Mensch ist (seiner Natur nach) kleinmütig geschaffen worden.

Ayah: 20

إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعٗا
Wenn ihn ein Unheil trifft, so gerät er in große Panik

Ayah: 21

وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلۡخَيۡرُ مَنُوعًا
doch wenn ihm (etwas) Gutes zukommt, ist er geizig.

إِلَّا ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ
Nicht so sind diejenigen, die beten

Ayah: 23

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ دَآئِمُونَ
und (die Verrichtung) ihrer Gebete einhalten

Ayah: 24

وَٱلَّذِينَ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ
und die, in deren Besitztum ein bestimmter Anteil ist

Ayah: 25

لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ
für den Bittenden und den Unbemittelten

Ayah: 26

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
und die, die an den Tag des Gerichts glauben

Ayah: 27

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ
und die, die vor der Strafe ihres Herrn besorgt sind

Ayah: 28

إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمۡ غَيۡرُ مَأۡمُونٖ
- wahrlich die Strafe ihres Herrn ist nichts, wovor man sicher sein könnte -

Ayah: 29

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَٰفِظُونَ
und die, die ihre Scham bewahren

Ayah: 30

إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ
außer bei ihren Gattinnen oder denen, die sie von Rechts wegen besitzen; denn da sind sie nicht zu tadeln.

Ayah: 31

فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ
Diejenigen aber, die darüber hinaus etwas suchen, das sind die Übertreter.

Ayah: 32

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ
Und die, die mit dem ihnen anvertrauten Gut redlich umgehen und erfüllen, wozu sie sich verpflichtet haben

Ayah: 33

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمۡ قَآئِمُونَ
und die, die in ihrer Zeugenaussage aufrichtig sind

Ayah: 34

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ
und die, die ihr Gebet getreulich verrichten

Ayah: 35

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ مُّكۡرَمُونَ
diese sind es, die in den Gärten hochgeehrt sein werden.

فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ قِبَلَكَ مُهۡطِعِينَ
Was aber ist mit denen, die ungläubig sind, daß sie auf dich zugelaufen kommen

Ayah: 37

عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ
von rechts und links, nach Gruppen plaziert?

Ayah: 38

أَيَطۡمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُدۡخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٖ
Hofft jeder einzelne von ihnen wohl, den Garten der Wonne zu betreten?

Ayah: 39

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Nimmermehr! Sie wissen doch, woraus Wir sie erschufen.

Ayah: 40

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغَٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَٰدِرُونَ
Aber nein! Ich schwöre beim Herrn der Aufgänge und der Untergänge, daß Wir imstande sind

Ayah: 41

عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيۡرٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ
bessere als sie an ihre Stelle zu setzen, und keiner kann Uns (daran) hindern.

Ayah: 42

فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
So laß sie nur plaudern und sich vergnügen, bis sie ihrem Tag begegnen, der ihnen angedroht wird

Ayah: 43

يَوۡمَ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ سِرَاعٗا كَأَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٖ يُوفِضُونَ
dem Tag, an dem sie aus ihren Gräbern eilends hervorkommen, als eilten sie zu ihren Götzenfiguren.

Ayah: 44

خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يُوعَدُونَ
Ihre Augen werden niedergeschlagen sein; Schmach wird sie bedecken. Das ist der Tag, der ihnen angedroht wird.
