SURATU L-FIIL

Ayah: 1

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ
Ntumwa y’Imana! Mbega, ntiwamenye ingene Imana yawe Rurema Allah Yagize beninzovu[1]!
[1] Abraha Al-Habashiy, umutware wo muri Etiyopiya n’ingabo ziwe, igihe bashaka gusenyura Al-Ka’ba.

أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ
Umugambi wabo mubi, ntiyawugize impfagusa ukaburizwamwo!

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ
Iraheza Ibarungikira inyoni ziri mu migwimigwi;

Zibatera amabuye yokeje, ziraheza zirabahonya.

Maze Ibagira nk’ivyatsi vyarishijwe n'intungwa hanyuma iravyuza, iraheza ibita ari amahenehene.
