SURATU L-HUMAZAH

Ayah: 1

وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ
Uguhanwa nya guhanwa, ni ukw’uwo wese anegura akandagaza abantu, akwiragiza insaku (gateranya);

ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
Yishinga kwegeranya amatungo no kuyaharura kenshi.

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
Mbega yibaza ko amatungo yiwe azomubeshaho ibihe bidahera akanamukingira iharurirwa!

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
Nateshwe ate, arahumba! Ni ukuri uyo muntu, azojugunywa muri ruyonza.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
Ntumwa y'Imana! Mbega, ni igiki cokumenyesha ico ari co ruyonza?

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
Ni umuriro w’Imana Allah wama wegenyejwe;

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
Unyengetera mu mishaha.

إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ
Mu vy’ukuri, uwo muriro urabakikuje mu mpande zose;

فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
Bazoba baboheshejwe iminyororo miremire n’amapingu; ntibazocaruka na gato.
