Al-Qiyâmah

Ayah: 1

لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Giuro per il giorno della Resurrezione
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلنَّفۡسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ
e giuro per l’anima che si incolpa:

Ayah: 3

أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجۡمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ
l’uomo crede che non ricomporremo le sue ossa?

Ayah: 4

بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُۥ
Certo, siamo capaci di ricomporne le impronte delle dita.

Ayah: 5

بَلۡ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفۡجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ
Però l’uomo vuole persistere nella sua incredulità.

Ayah: 6

يَسۡـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Si domanda quanto è lontano il giorno della Resurrezione.

فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ
Quando si abbaglierà la vista

Ayah: 8

وَخَسَفَ ٱلۡقَمَرُ
e la luna si eclisserà

Ayah: 9

وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ
e il sole e la luna verranno uniti,

Ayah: 10

يَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ أَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَفَرُّ
allora l’uomo dirà: «Dov’è la via di fuga?»

Ayah: 11

كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ
No, non ci sarà una fuga!

Ayah: 12

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقَرُّ
Quel giorno la dimora sarà dal tuo Dio.

يُنَبَّؤُاْ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ
Quel giorno l’uomo verrà informato sulle sue adempienze e le sue mancanze.

Ayah: 14

بَلِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٞ
Ma l’uomo sarà testimone contro se stesso,

Ayah: 15

وَلَوۡ أَلۡقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ
anche se porterà le sue scuse.

Ayah: 16

لَا تُحَرِّكۡ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعۡجَلَ بِهِۦٓ
Non muovere la tua lingua con Esso affrettandoti.[101]
[101]- Non recitarlo di fretta.

Ayah: 17

إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا جَمۡعَهُۥ وَقُرۡءَانَهُۥ
In verità a Noi spetta riunirlo[102] e farlo recitare,
[102]- Raggruppare tutte le parti che sono discese nel tempo.

Ayah: 18

فَإِذَا قَرَأۡنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعۡ قُرۡءَانَهُۥ
e quando lo leggiamo, seguine la recitazione,

Ayah: 19

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا بَيَانَهُۥ
poi in verità a Noi spetta chiarirlo.

Ayah: 20

كَلَّا بَلۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ
No! Voi amate questa vita

Ayah: 21

وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ
e siete incuranti dell’Aldilà.

Ayah: 22

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاضِرَةٌ
Ci saranno visi radiosi,

Ayah: 23

إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٞ
radiosi verso il loro Dio.

Ayah: 24

وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَاسِرَةٞ
E ci saranno visi cupi,

Ayah: 25

تَظُنُّ أَن يُفۡعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٞ
coscienti di dover subire una punizione terribile.

Ayah: 26

كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِيَ
No! Quando arriverà l’agonia,

Ayah: 27

وَقِيلَ مَنۡۜ رَاقٖ
sarà detto: «Chi? (س) C’è chi possa pregare per salvarlo dalla morte?»

Ayah: 28

وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡفِرَاقُ
E si convincerà che è arrivata l’ora del distacco

Ayah: 29

وَٱلۡتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ
e la gamba si unirà all’altra gamba:

Ayah: 30

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمَسَاقُ
al tuo Dio sarà il suo ritorno.

Ayah: 31

فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ
Non ha donato, né pregato,

Ayah: 32

وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
ma negò e volse le spalle;

Ayah: 33

ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ
poi tornò alla sua gente, altezzoso.

أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰ
Guai a te, guai!

Ayah: 35

ثُمَّ أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰٓ
Poi: guai a te, guai!

Ayah: 36

أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتۡرَكَ سُدًى
L’uomo crede forse che sarà lasciato a se stesso?

Ayah: 37

أَلَمۡ يَكُ نُطۡفَةٗ مِّن مَّنِيّٖ يُمۡنَىٰ
Non fu forse un fiotto gettato?

Ayah: 38

ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةٗ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
Poi divenne un grumo, da cui Lui formò e plasmò

Ayah: 39

فَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ
e da cui creò la coppia: il maschio e la femmina.

Ayah: 40

أَلَيۡسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحۡـِۧيَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
Non è forse Lui capace di ridare la vita ai morti?
