Al-Ghāshiyah

Ayah: 1

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ
온몸을 뒤덮는 공포의 날에 관한 이야기가 그대(무함마드)에게 전해졌는가?

Ayah: 2

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
그날 비천한 얼굴들이 있으니

Ayah: 3

عَامِلَةٞ نَّاصِبَةٞ
노역하는 고단한 얼굴들이라.

Ayah: 4

تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةٗ
그들은 고온의 지옥불로 불타며

Ayah: 5

تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَيۡنٍ ءَانِيَةٖ
끓어오르는 샘물을 들이켜게 될 것이라.

لَّيۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٖ
그들이 가진 먹을 것이라곤 오직 독기 어린 건초 뿐이니

لَّا يُسۡمِنُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِن جُوعٖ
그것은 살찌우지도 않으며 일말의 허기도 채워주지 못하노라.

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاعِمَةٞ
그날 안락한 얼굴들이 있으니

لِّسَعۡيِهَا رَاضِيَةٞ
자신들의 노력으로 인해 만족스러워 하노라.

فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
드높은 천국에 있어

لَّا تَسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةٗ
그들은 그곳에서 실없는 말을 듣지 않을 것이라.

فِيهَا عَيۡنٞ جَارِيَةٞ
그곳에는 흐르는 샘물이 있으며

فِيهَا سُرُرٞ مَّرۡفُوعَةٞ
그곳에는 높은 침대들과

وَأَكۡوَابٞ مَّوۡضُوعَةٞ
놓여진 술잔들과

وَنَمَارِقُ مَصۡفُوفَةٞ
잘 정돈된 아담한 베개들과

Ayah: 16

وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ
펼쳐진 융단들이 있노라.

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
그러니 그들은 낙타가 어떻게 창조되었는지 보지 않겠는가?

وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ
하늘이 어떻게 올려졌는지,

وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ
산은 어떻게 세워졌는지,

وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ
땅은 어떻게 평평하게 되었는지 그들은 보지 않겠는가?

Ayah: 21

فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٞ
그러니 그대(무함마드)는 상기시켜 주라. 그대는 오직 상기자일 뿐이며

لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ
그들을 강제하는 자가 아니라.

Ayah: 23

إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
그러나 돌아서며 불신하는 자는

Ayah: 24

فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ
하나님께서 그에게 가장 커다란 벌을 내리실 것이라.

إِنَّ إِلَيۡنَآ إِيَابَهُمۡ
실로 나에게로 그들은 귀착할 것이며

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا حِسَابَهُم
실로 그 후 그들의 심판은 나의 몫이라.
