Al-Fajr

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ
새벽빛을 두고 맹세코

وَلَيَالٍ عَشۡرٖ
열흘 밤을 두고 맹세코

وَٱلشَّفۡعِ وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ
짝수와 홀수를 두고 맹세코

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَسۡرِ
사라져 갈 때의 밤을 두고 맹세코

هَلۡ فِي ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٞ لِّذِي حِجۡرٍ
저 안에는 지성을 갖춘 자를 위한 맹세가 있노라.

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
그대 주님께서 아드 부족을 어떻게 하셨는지 그대는 보지 않았는가?

إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَادِ
(그들의 선조는) 장대한 기골의 아람으로서

ٱلَّتِي لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
어떤 땅에서도 그들과 유사한 존재가 창조된 적이 없노라.

Ayah: 9

وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُواْ ٱلصَّخۡرَ بِٱلۡوَادِ
그리고 골짜기에서 돌을 깎던 싸무드 부족과

وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ ذِي ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ
병력을 소유하였던 파라오를 보지 않았던가?

ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
그들은 땅에서 경계를 넘어서면서

فَأَكۡثَرُواْ فِيهَا ٱلۡفَسَادَ
그곳에서 해악을 증가시켰노라.

Ayah: 13

فَصَبَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّكَ سَوۡطَ عَذَابٍ
그리하여 그대의 주님께서는 그들에게 채찍 같은 징벌을 퍼부으셨노라.

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ
진실로 그대의 주님께서는 감시대에 계시노라.

فَأَمَّا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَكۡرَمَنِ
인간은 그의 주님께서 그를 시험하시어 그에게 명예와 은총을 주실 때면 “저의 주님께서 저에게 명예를 주셨습니다”라고 말하나,

Ayah: 16

وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ
그분께서 그를 시험하시어 그에게 불리하게 그분의 양식을 한정시키실 때면 “저의 주님께서 저에게 치욕을 주셨습니다”라고 말하더라.

Ayah: 17

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا تُكۡرِمُونَ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ
결코 그렇지 않노라! 그대들은 고아를 명예롭게 대하지 않으며

وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
불우한 자들을 먹이는 일을 서로에게 권유하지도 않노라.

Ayah: 19

وَتَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكۡلٗا لَّمّٗا
그리고 그대들은 (그들의) 유산을 모조리 삼켜 버리고

وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡمَالَ حُبّٗا جَمّٗا
재산을 몹시도 사랑하노라.

Ayah: 21

كَلَّآۖ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ دَكّٗا دَكّٗا
그렇지 않노라. 대지가 정말 산산조각이 날 때

Ayah: 22

وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلۡمَلَكُ صَفّٗا صَفّٗا
그대의 주님께서 오시고, 천사가 여러 줄로 대열을 지어 올 때

Ayah: 23

وَجِاْيٓءَ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِجَهَنَّمَۚ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
이날 지옥이 대령되노라. 인간은 이날에서야 깨우치지만 이 깨우침이 그에게 무슨 소용이 있겠는가?

Ayah: 24

يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِي
그가 말하노라. “나의 (내세) 삶을 위해 내가 (선행을) 베풀었다면 좋았을 것을! ”

Ayah: 25

فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٞ
그날 그 누구도 그분의 벌(과 유사한 벌)을 내리지 못하며

Ayah: 26

وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٞ
그 누구도 그분의 포승(과 유사한 포승)으로 묶지 못하노라.

يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفۡسُ ٱلۡمُطۡمَئِنَّةُ
평온한 영혼이여!

ٱرۡجِعِيٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةٗ مَّرۡضِيَّةٗ
기뻐하면서, 흡족함을 받으며 그대의 주님께로 돌아가라.

فَٱدۡخُلِي فِي عِبَٰدِي
그리하여 나의 종복들에게로 들어가라.

وَٱدۡخُلِي جَنَّتِي
