Al-Balad

Ayah: 1

لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
내가 이 도시를 두고 맹세컨대
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَأَنتَ حِلُّۢ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
- 이 도시에서 그대(무함마드의 행위)는 허락된 것이라 -

وَوَالِدٖ وَمَا وَلَدَ
그리고 낳는 자와 그가 낳은 것을 두고 맹세컨대

Ayah: 4

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِي كَبَدٍ
실로 나는 인간을 고달픔 속에 있게끔 창조하였노라.

Ayah: 5

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقۡدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ أَحَدٞ
그는 그 누구도 자신을 제약할 수 없으리라 생각하는 것인가?

Ayah: 6

يَقُولُ أَهۡلَكۡتُ مَالٗا لُّبَدًا
그가 말하노라. “나는 숱한 재산을 소비하였도다”

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّمۡ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ
그는 그 누구도 자신을 보지 않는다고 생각하는 것인가?

Ayah: 8

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ
내가 그를 위해 두 눈과

Ayah: 9

وَلِسَانٗا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ
혀와 두 입술을 두지 않았던가?

Ayah: 10

وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ
또한 나는 그에게 두 개의 가파른 길을 가리켜 주었노라.

فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ
그럼에도 그는 험한 길을 헤쳐나가지 않는 것인가.

Ayah: 12

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡعَقَبَةُ
무엇이 그대에게 그 험한 길이 무엇인지를 알려줄 것인가?

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ
(그것은) 노예를 풀어 주거나

Ayah: 14

أَوۡ إِطۡعَٰمٞ فِي يَوۡمٖ ذِي مَسۡغَبَةٖ
허기진 날에 (사람들에게) 음식을 베풀고

Ayah: 15

يَتِيمٗا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ
친척 관계의 고아나

Ayah: 16

أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ
도탄에 빠진 불우한 자에게 음식을 베푸는 것이라.

Ayah: 17

ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِ
그 후에 그가 (하나님과 사도를) 믿고, 서로에게 인내를 권유하며, 서로에게 자비를 권유하는 자들 중의 하나가 되었더라면

Ayah: 18

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
이들은 오른편의 동료들이라.

Ayah: 19

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
그러나 나의 징표를 불신하는 자들, 그들은 좌편의 동료들로서

Ayah: 20

عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَارٞ مُّؤۡصَدَةُۢ
그들 위에는 굳게 닫혀진 지옥불이 있을 것이라.
