Al-Humaza

Ayah: 1

وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ
1. Okubonaabona okwamaanyi kugenda kubeera ku buli muntu atambuza engambo, ageya banne n'abaggya obumogo.

ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
2. Oyo akungaanya ebyo bugagga n’abituuma.

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
3. Alowooza nti eby'obugaggabye byakumukuumira ku nsi obugenderevu.

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
4. Nedda, ajja kukanyugwa mu muliro oguyitibwa “Hutwama”.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
5. Ye omanyi “Hutwama” kye ki?

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
6. (Hutwama) muliro gwa Katonda omukume, ogubumbujja.

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
7. Ogwo ogwokya negutuukira ddala ku mitima.

إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ
8. Mazima ddala omuliro ogwo (Hutwama) ku bantu abo (abogeddwaako) gugenda kubabuutikira.

فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
9. Mu midumu emiwanvu.
