Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Ma‘ārij   Ayah:

Ayah: 11

يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ
11. Bagenda kuba nga beeraba (naye nga tebayinza kuyambagana). Omwonoonyi olwokwagala okuwona ebibonerezo byolunaku olwo, aliyagala okwenunula nga awaayo abaanabe.

Ayah: 12

وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ
12. Mukyalawe ne mugandawe.

Ayah: 13

وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِي تُـٔۡوِيهِ
13. N'ekika kye ekimukuuma.

Ayah: 14

وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ
14. Nabantu bonna abali munsi, nga ekyo akikola awone ebibonerezo bya Katonda.

Ayah: 15

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ
15. Tekigenda kuba nga bwayagala, mazima ayolekedde muliro ogubumbujja.

نَزَّاعَةٗ لِّلشَّوَىٰ
16. Ogusiriiriza ddala eddiba.

تَدۡعُواْ مَنۡ أَدۡبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
17. Gugenda kukowoola buli eyakubayo amabega nakyuka okuva ku mazima.

Ayah: 18

وَجَمَعَ فَأَوۡعَىٰٓ
18. Era nga yakungaanyanga emmali nagitereka "natagyamu mugabo gugitukuza".

۞ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
19. Mazima omuntu yatondebwa nga wamulugube.

إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعٗا
20. Nga bwatuukibwako akabi ayitirira okutya.

وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلۡخَيۡرُ مَنُوعًا
21. Ate bwaba afunye akalungi ayitirira obukodo.

إِلَّا ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ
22. Okugyako abo abayimirizaawo e sswala.

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ دَآئِمُونَ
23. Abo nga okusaala kwabwe kwalubeerera.

وَٱلَّذِينَ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ
24. Era abo mu by'obugagga byabwe mulimu omugabo ogumanyiddwa.

Ayah: 25

لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ
25. Guweebwa abasabi n'abafuna mpola.

Ayah: 26

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
26. Era bebo abakakasa o kubeerawo kw'olunaku lw'enkomerero.

Ayah: 27

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ
27. Era abo abatya ebibonerezo bya Mukama Katonda waabwe.

Ayah: 28

إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمۡ غَيۡرُ مَأۡمُونٖ
28. Kubanga mazima ebibonerezo byamukama Katonda sibyakuwonwa.

Ayah: 29

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَٰفِظُونَ
29. Era abo abakuuma obwerere bwabwe.

Ayah: 30

إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ
30. Okugyako ku bakyala babwe oba abazaana abali mu mikono gyabwe, anti bo tebanenyezebwa kwabo.

Ayah: 31

فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ
31. Omuntu asukka ku abo, abo nno be babuusi bensalo.

Ayah: 32

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ
32. Era abantu abalungi abogeddwako waggulu, bebatuukiriza obwesigwa bwabwe nendagaano zaabwe.

Ayah: 33

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمۡ قَآئِمُونَ
33. Era abo abeesimbu mu bujulizi bwabwe.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 34

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ
34. Era abo abasaala e sswala zaabwe mu bujjuvu.

Ayah: 35

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ مُّكۡرَمُونَ
35. Abo nno balibeera mu jjana nga baweebwa ebitiibwa.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 36

فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ قِبَلَكَ مُهۡطِعِينَ
36. Lwaki abakafiiri bajja gyoli nga banguwa "so nga ate bakulimbisa".

Ayah: 37

عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ
37. Nga bali ku mukono gwo ogwa ddyo ne ku mukono ogwa kkono mu bibinja.

Ayah: 38

أَيَطۡمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُدۡخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٖ
38. Buli omu kubo asuubira okuyingira e jjana eyebyengera.

Ayah: 39

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ
39. Nedda sibwekiri, mazima ffe twabakola nga tubajja mwebyo byebamanyi.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 40

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغَٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَٰدِرُونَ
40. Ndayira Katonda nannyini buvanjuba nobugwanjuba, mazima ffe tusobolera ddala.
