Al-Qalam

Ayah: 1

نٓۚ وَٱلۡقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسۡطُرُونَ
Nun. Nditsuba khulukalamu nende kabahandikanga.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

مَآ أَنتَ بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجۡنُونٖ
Ewe khumikabo chia Nyasaye wuwo Omulesi sholi omulalu tawe.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجۡرًا غَيۡرَ مَمۡنُونٖ
Ne toto bwene oli nomurungo omukhongo kulaliwa tawe.

Ayah: 4

وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٖ
Ne toto bwene oli nende ebima ebilayi muno.

فَسَتُبۡصِرُ وَيُبۡصِرُونَ
Hambi ano olalola, nabo bosi nibalole.

Ayah: 6

بِأَييِّكُمُ ٱلۡمَفۡتُونُ
Ni wina mwinywe womurwe omubii.

Ayah: 7

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ
Toto Nyasaye wuwo Omulesi niye umanyile muno ulia wakora okhurula khunjila yiyie, ne amanyile muno abali khubulunjifu.

Ayah: 8

فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
Olaloonda abakatsulanga tawe.

Ayah: 9

وَدُّواْ لَوۡ تُدۡهِنُ فَيُدۡهِنُونَ
Bekombanga mbu olaba omuteshere (khudini yiyio) kho nabo bakhutoratosilie (amakhuwa kabo).

Ayah: 10

وَلَا تُطِعۡ كُلَّ حَلَّافٖ مَّهِينٍ
Ne olaloonda buli ulia witsubanga muno, owulekungwa tawe.

هَمَّازٖ مَّشَّآءِۭ بِنَمِيمٖ
Ulekanga muno abandu, uyiyayiyanga natswatswania.

مَّنَّاعٖ لِّلۡخَيۡرِ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ
Omwikalili muno wamalayi, urumanga tsinzakho, owetsimbi po.

عُتُلِّۭ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ زَنِيمٍ
Womwoyo omwangaranu, owe ikholo isiro.

أَن كَانَ ذَا مَالٖ وَبَنِينَ
Khulwokhubeela ali nende emiandu nende Abana.

Ayah: 15

إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
Nibasomelwa tsinyaali tsiefu nibaboola mbu: “Etso nitsingano tsiabakhale.”

سَنَسِمُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلۡخُرۡطُومِ
Khulamurakhwo eshimanyisio khuliulu lilie.

Ayah: 17

إِنَّا بَلَوۡنَٰهُمۡ كَمَا بَلَوۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ إِذۡ أَقۡسَمُواْ لَيَصۡرِمُنَّهَا مُصۡبِحِينَ
Ne toto bwene khulabatema shinga khwatema Abandu bomukunda, olwa betsuba mbu: “Toto khulauna okhukuchesa obulachweya.”

Ayah: 18

وَلَا يَسۡتَثۡنُونَ
Ne nibalaboola mbu “Nyasaye nachama” tawe.

Ayah: 19

فَطَافَ عَلَيۡهَا طَآئِفٞ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمۡ نَآئِمُونَ
Awo, eshikhole shiamaraba, okhurula khu Nyasaye wuwo Omulesi nishikholekha khumukunda oko nabo nibali mutsindoolo.

Ayah: 20

فَأَصۡبَحَتۡ كَٱلصَّرِيمِ
Nikuba shinga eshiilima eshikhongo.

Ayah: 21

فَتَنَادَوۡاْ مُصۡبِحِينَ
Nibalaangana mumabwibwi nibushiele.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 22

أَنِ ٱغۡدُواْ عَلَىٰ حَرۡثِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰرِمِينَ
Mbu: “Tsie itsuli mumukunda kwenyu nimuli toto mbu mutsitsanga okhuchesa.”

Ayah: 23

فَٱنطَلَقُواْ وَهُمۡ يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ
Ne nibarula nibasungana mubwimoonyo.

Ayah: 24

أَن لَّا يَدۡخُلَنَّهَا ٱلۡيَوۡمَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّسۡكِينٞ
“Alakhabenjirirakhwomwo (mumukunda) omumanani yesiyesi inyanga yino tawe.”

Ayah: 25

وَغَدَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ حَرۡدٖ قَٰدِرِينَ
Ne nibatsia nibasuubile muno nibeelolanga mbu bali noobunyali.

Ayah: 26

فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡهَا قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا لَضَآلُّونَ
Olwa bakulola, baboola mbu: “Toto bwene khukorere.

Ayah: 27

بَلۡ نَحۡنُ مَحۡرُومُونَ
Halali efwe khwimilwe.”

Ayah: 28

قَالَ أَوۡسَطُهُمۡ أَلَمۡ أَقُل لَّكُمۡ لَوۡلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ
Omulayi muno mubo naboola mbu: “Shebaboolelekhwo tawe mbu, khulwa shina mulatswenula Nyasaye tawe?”

Ayah: 29

قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
Nibaboola mbu: “Obutswenufu nibwa Nyasaye wefu Omulesi. Toto efwe khuli abonooni.”

Ayah: 30

فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَلَٰوَمُونَ
Nibakalukhana abeene khubeene okhufunanania.

Ayah: 31

قَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا طَٰغِينَ
Nibaboola mbu: “Abaane efwe! Khuburire eshichelo.

Ayah: 32

عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبۡدِلَنَا خَيۡرٗا مِّنۡهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَٰغِبُونَ
Awundi Nyasaye wefu Omulesi alakhukalukhasiria amalayi okhushila kano. Toto efwe khukalushila Nyasaye wefu Omulesi.”
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 33

كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡعَذَابُۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ
Endio nilwa eshinyasio shili. Ne eshinyasio sheyindukho neshikhongo muno, bamanyangakhwo bayie!

Ayah: 34

إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Toto bwene balia abaria Nyasaye wabu baliba nende emikunda chomwikulu chobwokholo ewa Nyasaye wabu Omulesi.

Ayah: 35

أَفَنَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ كَٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
Ne, khwakhakhola abasalamu shinga aboononi?

Ayah: 36

مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ
Mukhabeele murie? Mubusinjia murie?

Ayah: 37

أَمۡ لَكُمۡ كِتَٰبٞ فِيهِ تَدۡرُسُونَ
Nohomba muli neshitabu shiamusomangamwo?

Ayah: 38

إِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِيهِ لَمَا تَخَيَّرُونَ
Mbu mulanyoolamwo akamwayanza?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 39

أَمۡ لَكُمۡ أَيۡمَٰنٌ عَلَيۡنَا بَٰلِغَةٌ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ إِنَّ لَكُمۡ لَمَا تَحۡكُمُونَ
Nohomba muli neebiitsubo khwifwe, ebiliboosia khu inyanga yeyindukho, mbu toto bwene mulinyoola koosi pe kamubusinjia?

Ayah: 40

سَلۡهُمۡ أَيُّهُم بِذَٰلِكَ زَعِيمٌ
Barebe mbu: “Ni wina mubo Omwimilisi wa kano?”
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 41

أَمۡ لَهُمۡ شُرَكَآءُ فَلۡيَأۡتُواْ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمۡ إِن كَانُواْ صَٰدِقِينَ
Nohomba bali nende abasaanji? Mana barere abasaanji babu abo nikali mbu baboolanga akatoto.

Ayah: 42

يَوۡمَ يُكۡشَفُ عَن سَاقٖ وَيُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
Inyanga lwomuluku (kwa Nyasaye) kulifunulwa, ne balilangwa okhurerera Nyasaye obwenu bwabu hasi (okhusujuda), ne shibalinyalilwa tawe.

Ayah: 43

خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۖ وَقَدۡ كَانُواْ يُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ وَهُمۡ سَٰلِمُونَ
Tsimoni tsiabu tsilihenga hasi, tsisoni tsilibalia muno, toto bwene balaangungwa okhurerera Nyasaye obweni bwabu hasi (nibali khushialo) nibali abalamu muno.

Ayah: 44

فَذَرۡنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِۖ سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُم مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Kho ndeshela balia bakatsulanga likhuwa lino, khulabasitia khushinyasio kalahakalaha munjila yabalamanyile tawe.

Ayah: 45

وَأُمۡلِي لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ كَيۡدِي مَتِينٌ
Ne ndalabahelesia ebise. Toto amaraba kanje ni amasiro.

Ayah: 46

أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمٖ مُّثۡقَلُونَ
Nohomba obasabanga omurungo, nabo bakhayungwa eshichelo esho khulwa neeshisiro?

Ayah: 47

أَمۡ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبُ فَهُمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ
Nohoma bali nende kefisa kabahandikanga?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 48

فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ ٱلۡحُوتِ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ مَكۡظُومٞ
Kho linda okhula shinga Nyasaye wuwo Omulesi yetsa okhubusia eshina, ne olaba ta shinga omundu weyimonye (omurumwa Yunus) tawe, olwa yalaanga nafwinyiikhe.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 49

لَّوۡلَآ أَن تَدَٰرَكَهُۥ نِعۡمَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ لَنُبِذَ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ مَذۡمُومٞ
Tsikhayanga okhumuulila tsimbabaasi okhurula khu Nyasaye wuwe Omulesi, yakhasalilwe khulukuku nafunanibwa.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 50

فَٱجۡتَبَٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَجَعَلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Halali Nyasaye wuwe Omulesi namwawula, mana namukhola okhuba mubandu abalayi.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 51

وَإِن يَكَادُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَيُزۡلِقُونَكَ بِأَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ لَمَّا سَمِعُواْ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُۥ لَمَجۡنُونٞ
Ne abakhayi bali hambi muno okhukhureresia khu tsimoni tsiabu, olwa bawulila ametsulisio ka Nyasaye. Ne baboolanga mbu: “Toto bwene ye ni omulalu.”

Ayah: 52

وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Ne amakhuwa kano (Ikurani) shikali halali ni ametsulisio khubiloonje bioosi.
