Al-Balad

Ayah: 1

لَاۤ اُقْسِمُ بِهٰذَا الْبَلَدِ ۟ۙ
१. मी या शहराची शपथ घेतो.

وَاَنْتَ حِلٌّۢ بِهٰذَا الْبَلَدِ ۟ۙ
२. आणि तुम्ही या शहरात वास्तव्य करता.

وَوَالِدٍ وَّمَا وَلَدَ ۟ۙ
३. आणि (शपथ आहे) मानवी पिता आणि संततीची.

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ فِیْ كَبَدٍ ۟ؕ
४. निःसंशय, आम्ही मानवाला (मोठ्या) कष्ट-यातनेत निर्माण केले.

اَیَحْسَبُ اَنْ لَّنْ یَّقْدِرَ عَلَیْهِ اَحَدٌ ۟ۘ
५. काय मनुष्य असे समजतो की तो कोणाच्या नियंत्रणाखाली नाही?

یَقُوْلُ اَهْلَكْتُ مَالًا لُّبَدًا ۟ؕ
६. सांगत (फिरतो) की मी तर भरपूर धन-संपत्ती खर्च करून टाकली.

اَیَحْسَبُ اَنْ لَّمْ یَرَهٗۤ اَحَدٌ ۟ؕ
७. काय, तो (असे) समजतो की कोणी त्याला पाहिलेच नाही?

اَلَمْ نَجْعَلْ لَّهٗ عَیْنَیْنِ ۟ۙ
८. काय, आम्ही त्याचे दोन डोळे नाही बनविले?

وَلِسَانًا وَّشَفَتَیْنِ ۟ۙ
९. आणि एक जीभ व दोन ओठ (नाही बनविले?)

وَهَدَیْنٰهُ النَّجْدَیْنِ ۟ۚ
१०. आणि त्याला दोन्ही मार्ग दाखवून दिले.

فَلَا اقْتَحَمَ الْعَقَبَةَ ۟ؗۖ
११. तेव्हा, घाटीत प्रवेश करणे त्याला शक्य झाले नाही.

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الْعَقَبَةُ ۟ؕ
१२. तुम्हाला काय माहीत की तो घाटी मार्ग काय आहे?

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ ۟ۙ
१३. एखाद्याची मान (दास, दासी) मुक्त करणे.

اَوْ اِطْعٰمٌ فِیْ یَوْمٍ ذِیْ مَسْغَبَةٍ ۟ۙ
१४. किंवा भुकेल्या दिवशी पोटभर जेवु घालणे.

یَّتِیْمًا ذَا مَقْرَبَةٍ ۟ۙ
१५. एखाद्या नातेवाईक अनाथाला.

اَوْ مِسْكِیْنًا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍ ۟ؕ
१६. किंवा मातीस मिळालेल्या अतिशय गरीब माणसाला.

ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْمَرْحَمَةِ ۟ؕ
१७. मग त्या लोकांपैकी झाला असता, जे ईमान राखतात, आणि एकमेकांना धीर संयम व दया करुणा करण्याची ताकीद करतात.

اُولٰٓىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ الْمَیْمَنَةِ ۟ؕ
१८. हेच लोक आहेत उजव्या बाजूचे.

وَالَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَا هُمْ اَصْحٰبُ الْمَشْـَٔمَةِ ۟ؕ
१९. आणि ज्या लोकांनी आमच्या आयतींचा इन्कार केला, तेच लोक डाव्या हाताचे आहेत.

عَلَیْهِمْ نَارٌ مُّؤْصَدَةٌ ۟۠
२०. हेच आगीच्या कोंडीत असतील जी चारी बाजूंनी घेरलेली असेल.
