ஸூரா அஷ்ஷம்ஸ்
وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحٰىهَا ۟
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
وَالْقَمَرِ اِذَا تَلٰىهَا ۟
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا جَلّٰىهَا ۟

وَالَّیْلِ اِذَا یَغْشٰىهَا ۟

وَالسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنٰىهَا ۟

وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا طَحٰىهَا ۟

وَنَفْسٍ وَّمَا سَوّٰىهَا ۟

فَاَلْهَمَهَا فُجُوْرَهَا وَتَقْوٰىهَا ۟

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ بِطَغْوٰىهَاۤ ۟

اِذِ انْۢبَعَثَ اَشْقٰىهَا ۟
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَعَقَرُوْهَا— فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَیْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِذَنْۢبِهِمْ فَسَوّٰىهَا ۟
ஆக, அவர்கள் அவரைப் பொய்ப்பித்தார்கள். இன்னும் அ(ந்த ஒட்டகத்)தை (அறுத்து) கொன்றுவிட்டார்கள். ஆகவே, அவர்களின் பாவத்தினால் அவர்களுடைய இறைவன் அவர்கள் மீது கடுமையான தண்டனையை இறக்கினான். அ(ந்த சமுதாயத்)தை (அதில் உள்ள அனைவரையும் தண்டனையில்) சமமாக்கினான். (ஒட்டகத்தை கொன்றவன் ஒருவனாக இருந்தாலும் அதை எல்லோரும் பொருந்திக் கொண்டதால் அந்த சமுதாயத்தில் இருந்த எல்லோருக்கும் அதே தண்டனையை கொடுத்து அழித்துவிட்டான்.)
