Ayah: 1

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ
(Này hỡi Muhammad!) Ngươi đã không thấy cách Thượng Đế của Ngươi đối xử với đoàn quân cưỡi voi ư?

أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ
Chẳng phải Ngài đã phá hỏng kế hoạch của bọn chúng?

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ
Chẳng phải Ngài đã gửi đàn chim bay đến thành từng đoàn đến tiêu diệt chúng?

تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ
(Đàn chim) đã ném chúng với những viên đá Sijjil.
