Ayah: 1

عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Nípa kí ni wọ́n ń bíra wọn léèrè ná?

Ayah: 2

عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
Nípa ìró ìkọ̀kọ̀ ńlá ni,

ٱلَّذِي هُمۡ فِيهِ مُخۡتَلِفُونَ
èyí tí wọ́n ń yapa-ẹnu lórí rẹ̀.

كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
Rárá! Wọ́n ń bọ̀ wá mọ̀.

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
Lẹ́yìn náà, rárá sẹ́, wọ́n ń bọ̀ wá mọ̀.

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِهَٰدٗا
Ǹjẹ́ Àwa kò ṣe ilẹ̀ ní ìtẹ́ bí,

وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادٗا
àti àwọn àpáta ní èèkàn (fún ilẹ̀)?

وَخَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا
A sì ṣẹ̀dá yín ní oríṣiríṣi (akọ àti abo).

وَجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتٗا
A ṣe oorun yín ní ìsinmi.

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسٗا
A tún ṣe alẹ́ ní ìbora.

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشٗا
A tún ṣe ọ̀sán ní (àsìkò fún) wíwá ìjẹ-ìmu.

وَبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعٗا شِدَادٗا
A tún mọ sánmọ̀ méje tó lágbára sókè yín.

وَجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجٗا وَهَّاجٗا
A tún ṣe òòrùn ní ìmọ́lẹ̀ tó ń tàn gbòlà.

وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا
Àti pé A sọ omi tó ń bọ́ tẹ̀léra wọn kalẹ̀ láti inú àwọn ẹ̀ṣújò

لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا
nítorí kí Á lè fi mú kóró èso àti irúgbìn jáde

وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا
pẹ̀lú àwọn ọgbà tó kún digbí fún n̄ǹkan oko.

إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا
Dájúdájú ọjọ́ ìpínyà, ó ní gbèdéke àkókò kan.

Ayah: 18

يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا
(Ìyẹn ni) ọjọ́ tí wọ́n á fọn fèrè oníwo fún àjíǹde. Ẹ̀yin yó sì máa wá níjọ-níjọ.

Ayah: 19

وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا
Wọ́n sì máa ṣí sánmọ̀ sílẹ̀. Ó sì máa di àwọn ìlẹ̀kùn.

Ayah: 20

وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا
Wọ́n máa mú àwọn àpáta rìn (bọ́ sí àyè mìíràn). Ó sì máa di ahúnpeéná.

إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا
Dájúdájú iná Jahanamọ, ó lúgọ sílẹ̀ lójú ọ̀nà.

لِّلطَّٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا
(Ó jẹ́) ibùgbé fún àwọn alákọyọ.

لَّٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا
Wọn yóò máa gbé inú rẹ̀ fún ìgbà gbọọrọ.

لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا
Wọn kò níí rí ìtura tàbí ohun mímu kan tọ́wò nínú rẹ̀,

إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا
àyàfi omi tó gbóná parí àti àwọnúwẹ̀jẹ̀.

جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا
(Ó jẹ́) ẹ̀san tó ṣe wẹ́kú (iṣẹ́ wọn).

إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا
Dájúdájú wọn kì í retí ìṣírò-iṣẹ́.

وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابٗا
Wọ́n sì pe àwọn āyah Wa ní irọ́ gan-an.

وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ كِتَٰبٗا
Gbogbo n̄ǹkan sì ni A ti ṣe àkọsílẹ̀ rẹ̀ sínú Tírà kan.

Ayah: 30

فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
Nítorí náà, ẹ tọ́ (ìyà) wò. A ò sì níí ṣe àlékún kan fún yín bí kò ṣe ìyà.

إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
Dájúdájú ìgbàlà wà fún àwọn olùbẹ̀rù (Allāhu).

حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعۡنَٰبٗا
Àwọn ọgbà oko àti èso àjàrà,

وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتۡرَابٗا
àti àwọn ọlọ́mọge, tí wọn kò júra wọn lọ lọ́jọ́-orí,

وَكَأۡسٗا دِهَاقٗا
àti ife ọtí tó kún dẹnu (ni ẹ̀san wọn).

لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا كِذَّٰبٗا
Wọn kò níí gbọ́ ìsọkúsọ àti ọ̀rọ̀ irọ́ nínú rẹ̀.

Ayah: 36

جَزَآءٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابٗا
(Ó jẹ́) ẹ̀san láti ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa rẹ, (ó sì jẹ́) ọrẹ ní ìbámu sí ìṣírò-iṣẹ́ (wọn).

Ayah: 37

رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۖ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابٗا
(Ẹsan náà wá láti ọ̀dọ̀) Olúwa àwọn sánmọ̀, ilẹ̀ àti ohun tó wà láààrin méjèèjì, Àjọkẹ́-ayé. Wọn kò sì ní ìkápá ọ̀rọ̀ lọ́dọ̀ Rẹ̀.

Ayah: 38

يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا
Ọjọ́ tí mọlāika Jibrīl àti àwọn mọlāika (mìíràn) yóò dúró ní ọ̀wọ̀ọ̀wọ́. Wọn kò sì níí sọ̀rọ̀ àfi ẹni tí Àjọké-ayé bá yọ̀ǹda fún. Onítọ̀ún sì máa sọ̀rọ̀ tó máa ṣe wẹ́kú.

Ayah: 39

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا
Ìyẹn ni ọjọ́ òdodo. Nítorí náà, ẹni tí ó bá fẹ́ kí ó mú ọ̀nà tó máa gbà ṣẹ́rí padà sí ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa rẹ̀ pọ̀n (ní ti ìronúpìwàdà).

Ayah: 40

إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابٗا قَرِيبٗا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا
Dájúdájú A fi ìyà tó súnmọ́ ṣe ìkìlọ̀ fún yín. Ọjọ́ tí ènìyàn yóò máa wo ohun tí ó tì síwájú, aláìgbàgbọ́ yó sì wí pé: “Yéè, èmi ìbá sì jẹ́ erùpẹ̀, (èmi ìbá là nínú ìyà).”
