Traducción de significados Capítulo: Sura Al-Muzzammil   Versículo:

Al-Muzzammil

1. Oh you who have wrapped up yourself with a mantle¹,
1. I.e., the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) - seeking cover out of fear, after seeing the angel Gabriel.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
2. Arise (to pray) the night except a little,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
3. Half of it, or a little less,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
4. Or a little more, and recite the Qur’an with measured recitation (in a beautified tone and style).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
5. We shall cast down to you a heavy Word².
2. This Qur’an, which when descending on the Prophet (ﷺ) bore down upon him with a great weight in its unparalleled excellence, and in its perfect meanings and noble ordinances.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
6. Indeed the prayer at night is more effective on one's soul³ and more suitable for understanding the Word of Allah 'God'.
3. Or getting up at night is more difficult, meaning that it can only be done by sincere believers.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
7. You have in the day time a long occupation.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
8. So praise the Name of your Lord (Allah) and devote yourself to Him with (full) devotion.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
9. The Lord of the East and the West - there is no God (worthy of worship) except Him - so take Him as Disposer of all (your) affairs.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
10. And bear patiently whatever they say, and avoid them with a gracious avoidance.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
11. And leave to Me to deal with the deniers, the possessors of ease and plenty, and give them respite a little.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
12. We have prepared for them heavy fetters and a flaming Fire,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
13. And food that chokes and a painful Torment,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
14. On the Day the earth and the mountains will quake and the mountains will be turned into heaps of moving sand.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
15. Indeed, We have sent to you a messenger (Muhammad), a witness upon you, as We sent a messenger (Moses) to Pharaoh.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
16. But Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger (Moses), so We seized him with a severe seizure.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
17. How then, will you guard yourselves (from the torment), if you deny (Allah and His messenger Muhammad), on a Day that will make children grey-headed?
Las Exégesis Árabes:
18. The heaven will break apart thereby; His promise is ever brought to fulfillment.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
19. This is a Reminder, so whoever wills may take to his Lord (Allah) a way.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
20. Your Lord (Allah) knows that you (Muhammad) and a party of those with you get up for prayer almost two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or one-third of it. Allah determines (the duration of) the night and the day. He knows that you are not able to pray most of the night, so He has turned to you with forgiveness. Thus, recite what is easy (for you) of the Qur’an. He knows that some of you would be sick, and others would travel in the land seeking of the bounty of Allah, and others would fight for the Cause of God. Thus, recite what is easy from the Qur’an, and keep up the prayer, and pay the poor-rate, and lend to Allah a goodly loan⁴. Whatever good deeds you send forth for your Hereafter life, you will find it with Allah - it is better and greater in reward⁵. And ask Forgiveness from Allah - for Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
4. If you lend money to one of the people among you who is needy, do not gain profit from that and charge no interest.
5. Allah honors the giving of charity, and a person who helps the needy does Allah's will. The implication of the term "lend" suggests that Allah will repay those who are generous - not necessarily with material wealth, but in spiritual blessing.
