Al-Muddaththir

1. O you covered in your cloak¹.
1. I.e., the Prophet Muhammad. Out of fear from what he has seen - the angel Gabriel for the first time.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
2. Arise and warn (the world from their unrighteousness),
Las Exégesis Árabes:
3. And proclaim the Greatness of (Allah) your Lord,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
4. And purify (yourself from the sins and) your garments from the impurities,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
5. And keep away from worshipping idols (and bad conduct and morals),
Las Exégesis Árabes:
6. Do not confer favor in order that you may receive more (in return)²,
2. When we reach out to others to help, not because of what we might receive, but because of God’s Love, and so that we receive far greater blessing from Him only.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
7. Be patient for the Sake of (Allah) your Lord.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
8. For when the trumpet is blown,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
9. That Day, will be a difficult day,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
10. For the deniers, not easy.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
11. Leave Me to deal with the one whom I created alone,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
12. And gave him vast riches,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
13. And sons to be by his side (serving him),
Las Exégesis Árabes:
14. And made life smooth and comfortable for him -
Las Exégesis Árabes:
15. Yet he desires that I should add more!
Las Exégesis Árabes:
16. No! (It shall never be), since He has been opposing Our Verses.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
17. I will cover him with an arduous Torment.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
18. He planned and plotted (against the Truth).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
19. So may he perish, how he plotted.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
20. Again, may he perish - how he plotted!
Las Exégesis Árabes:
21. He looked around,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
22. Then frowned and scowled,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
23. Then turned back and was haughty with (false) pride,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
24. And said: "This (Qur’an) is only sorcery, narrated (from others).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
25. This is only the word of a human being."
Las Exégesis Árabes:
26. Soon I will make him burn in the Scorching Fire.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
27. What will make you know what the Scorching Fire is?
Las Exégesis Árabes:
28. It leaves nothing nor does it spare anything,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
29. Burning the skins,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
30. Over it are nineteen (angels as keepers and guardians of Hell).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
31. We have appointed only angels to be the wardens of the Fire, and We have specified their number only as a trial for the pagans and that those (Jews and Nazarenes) who have been given the Scripture may be certain and the believers may increase in Faith, and those who have been given the Scripture and the believers may not be in doubt, and so that those in whose hearts is a sickness (of hypocrisy) and the pagans may say: "What does Allah mean by this example?" Thus does Allah (justly) leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. No one knows the hosts of (Allah) your Lord except Him. This is only a Reminder to mankind.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
32. No, By the moon,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
33. By the night when it departs,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
34. And by the dawn when it brightens;
Las Exégesis Árabes:
35. Hellfire is one of the gravest afflictions,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
36. A warning to mankind,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
37. To him who wills to go forward (by faith and good deeds) or remain behind.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
38. Every soul is held responsible for what it earns (of evil),
Las Exégesis Árabes:
39. Except the people of the right hand,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
40. (Who will be) in gardens - they will ask each other,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
41. About the wicked:
Las Exégesis Árabes:
42. What has brought you into Hell?
Las Exégesis Árabes:
43. They will say: We were not of those who prayed;
Las Exégesis Árabes:
44. Nor did we feed the poor,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
45. We used to indulge in falsehood with those who indulged in it.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
46. And we used to deny the Day of (Judgment and) Recompense,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
47. Until there came to us the certainty (of death).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
48. So the intercession of intercessors will not benefit them.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
49. What is the matter with them, that they turn away from the Reminder (this Qur’an).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
50. Like frightened (wild) donkeys.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
51. Fleeing from a lion³?
3. If you refuse good advice, you are asking for trouble; follow it and you are safe. The teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah are a fountain of life. Be good and trusted, as those who can't be trusted are on the road to ruin. Bad people are destroyed by their rejection of faith. But whoever obeys Allah (God) and His messenger Muhammad will have security, and will be safe, with no reason to be afraid. If you obey the majority of those who live on earth, they will lead you away from God's path. They only follow idle fancies, indulging in conjecture.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
52. Rather, every one of them wants that he may be given (Divine) scrolls spread out.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
53. No, But they do not fear the Hereafter.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
54. No, it (this Qur’an) is indeed a Reminder.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
55. So whoever wills may take heed.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
56. But they will not take heed unless Allah so wills. He is (the One) worthy to be feared, and worthy to forgive.
