110. Say (Muhammad): "I am only a mortal man like you47; it is revealed to me that your God is One (Unique, Eternal) God. So whoever hopes to meet his Lord (Allah), should do righteous deeds, and not join anyone in the worship of the Lord (Allah)48.
47. They are to realize that Muhammad, the Noble Messenger of God (ﷺ) is no more than a mere human like any other who knows nothing of the knowledge of the Unseen except what Allah reveals to him, so that they need not expect more from him than what is Divinely revealed. The most prominent piece of knowledge of what is revealed to him, is that God is One and Only. So that they should associate none with Him in worship as partners.
48. Muhammad, God's Messenger reported that Allah said: “I am most independent and free from needing partners. Whoever performs a good deed while associating partners with Me, I will leave him and his setting up of associates to Me.”
