Aaya: 22

وَلَا يَأۡتَلِ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡفَضۡلِ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلسَّعَةِ أَن يُؤۡتُوٓاْ أُوْلِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينَ وَٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلۡيَعۡفُواْ وَلۡيَصۡفَحُوٓاْۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ

22. Let not those of you who possess grace and abundance swear against giving to relatives, the destitute, and immigrants for Allah’s Cause. Let them pardon and overlook. Do you not love that Allāh should forgive you⁷? For Allāh is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

7. A person who doesn't forgive others will not be forgiven. If you forgive other people when they sin against you, Allāh will also forgive you. Allāh desires that everyone forgives. You find peace by forgiving others, while yourself unforgiveness delivers you to stress and emotional suffering. Forgiveness calms stress levels, leading to improved health.
