تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
63. By Allāh, We certainly sent messengers to nations before you, [O Muhammad], but Satan made their deeds seem fair to them [24]. So he is their guardian today, and for them is a painful punishment.
[24]. Such as disbelief, polytheism, rejecting the Messenger, and other evil deeds.
