وَإِذۡ جَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡبَيۡتَ مَثَابَةٗ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمۡنٗا وَٱتَّخِذُواْ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ مُصَلّٗىۖ وَعَهِدۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيۡتِيَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلۡعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ
125. And when We made the House (the Ka’bah at Makkah) a place of refuge and a sanctuary for the people. And take (O believers) from Abraham's standing-place as a place of prayer. We enjoined Abraham and Ishmael: keep My house pure for those who perform the tawaf (circuit around it), stay there to worship and bow (and) prostrate (in prayer).
